5.00Being a local I had never been on a guided tour before. However, I knew that I hadn't visited some important sites of my city and as for the ones that I had, I just had a rather vague idea of their history as I had visited them when I was a schoolchild. This was the reason why I decided to look for a guided tour and I have to say that the whole experience exceeded my expectations! Giannis made sure that by the end of the tour I had formed a thorough understanding of the history of the city and instead of just providing me with information about each sight he actually helped me realize how some sights are even interrelated and interconnected in the continuum of the history of Thessaloniki. I absolutely loved the tour. Giannis is really good at capturing your attention and keeping it throughout the tour and, being a teacher, I have to say that this is a really difficult thing! I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour both to locals who want to become more familiar with their city's history and of course to tourists and travelers who want to go off the beaten track and seek for meaningful experiences.

5.00Feeling like a local! I really enjoyed my guidance to the most important sights in Thessaloniki with someone who knew how to make this tour a memorable experience! John is a very pleasant guide and gave me all the necessary information about the city and the places we visited.I will be definitely booking another tour with him to explore more of Greece!
