This was a one of a kind experience getting to see Mount Olympus and hearing all the stories of the 12 Greek gods. Tour guides were both amazing and went out of their way to make this a unique and memorable experience!

Pros… Michael was an amazing guide. He is a wealth of information, walking encyclopedia, knows everything about Greek history and Greek mythology. It was a perfect day for our hike. Beautiful scenery. We went off the beaten path of tourists. Wonderful little café we stopped for coffee. And ended the tour with some time on the beach. Now for the cons…. If you are used to hiking stairs, this would be fine. I would highly stay away from this tour if you have mobility issues. There’s a lot of rough terrain to walk through and stairs. If you’re afraid of heights, definitely not to tour for you. I would be cautious with young children , trying to maneuver some of the areas. Now with that being said, you can probably sit in the car and wait. But then you miss all the beautiful scenery.

A great day out with our guide, Michael. Nothing was too much trouble. He is really knowledgeable about Greek mythology and history and we learnt loads. He is a very entertaining host who loves to share his culture and history with you. Took us to lots of places the tour buses couldn’t go.

Our guide, Michael Tsingerliotis , set the tone for our whole Greek experience. Knowledge, passionate and very hospitable. We were driven around in comfort, introduced to the intersection of mythology and history which seems to be so much a part of Greece, and enjoyed places of worship and stunning countryside. We sampled healing waters and delicious cafe fare.

Michael was an excellent tour guide and host. He is very passionate about Greek culture as well as mythology and shared with us some amazing stories throughout our trip. We were on a cruise ship in Thessaloniki and took about an hour ride to Dion to see an unrestored 700 year-old church. Then we stopped at a beautiful mountain town for some coffee and breakfast. We headed into the mountain for three or four stops and at each location. Michael told us stories as well as the history of the culture of Greece. We then took the hour long ride back into Thessaloniki to conclude the tour which lasted about six hours overall. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you would like to get out of the urban setting for a few hours and enjoy some beautiful nature. The views were far more stunning than I expected. Highly recommended, and Michael was excellent the entire time.
