Start this wonderful culinary tour at 10am, with a pick up from your accommodation by an authorized local guide with Mercedes Minivan . Small group (Maximum 8 Guests) is guaranteed. You will continue your trip driving through Sicilian Villages, admiring local and authentic lava-stone houses, listen charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition and food. Here You enjoy views on the best Etna vineyards. You will stop at the first venue, a small family running winery, where You will start with a glass of cool white wine. After a guided visit of cellars you will start wine and cold appetizers tasting. Tasting will include: 5 glasses of Etna wine, locally produced cheeses, salami, olives, sun-dried tomatoes. The second stop will be in a antique and unique restaurant/farmhouse. Here you continue your food and wine tour that include the Typical Mount Etna delicatessen and wine. What a day. Orazio picked us up from our Airbnb. We were 4 of a group of 8 people. Great group and great guide. We first stopped at the Gambino vineyard at the foothills of Etna. Maybe 900 meters above sea level. We had incredible wine and pairings and the view was beautiful. After we drove to a restaurant, which I believe was in the Donnafugata vineyard. More good food and vine. A perfect day outside the city. I highly recommend and ask for Orazio.

Carlos was a wonderful guide! We went to 2 wineries and had a wonderful selection of food and wine at both locations. Small group of 8 people which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the full day of eating and drinking and learning about La Mamma (Mt Etna) and singing in the back of the van on the way back to Taormina.

this was one of the highlights of our trip to sicily—the two wineries were both beautiful and we appreciated the wines, the full meal, great conversation, and local feel. I would be shocked if anyone ever regretted booking this experience because it was really special!
