Welcome aboard our Fjord Safari adventure! Enjoy a leisurely two-hour journey on Altafjord, exploring Finnmark's breathtaking landscape from the unique perspective of the water. Step onto our comfortable vessel, the Sea Runner, equipped with modern amenities including a toilet, presentation screens, and WiFi, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests. Whether you relax in the heated indoor seating or enjoy the scenery from our outdoor decks, there's something for everyone.

Our knowledgeable guide will entertain you with stories of the area's rich history and fascinating wildlife, pointing out landmarks and sharing insights into the natural wonders around us. Keep your eyes open for birds like eagles soaring above or seals lounging along the shoreline as we cruise along.

Itinerary

- 09:45am: Meet up at the main building of Alta Harbor

- 10:00am: 2 hour Fjordsafari around the Altafjord, with it's Islands and

Mountains.

- 12:00 am: Return to Alta Harbor

Great guide. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Pilot and copilot took us to interesting places. Hot drink and biscuits welcome on a snowy but calm fjord exploration. Loved it! Bonus saw a pod of large dolphins.

We were greeted very nicely in German, Valerie comes from East Frisia. We got a lot of inside information about country and people. Great well maintained boat, super captain, coffee, tea pastries on board. You can tell the crew that they are practicing their profession with body and soul.

We had an absolutely fantastic fjord safari on the Altafjord today! The scenery was breathtaking. Valerie was super friendly and knew plenty of exciting facts about the region, wildlife and the history of the fjord. The boat was super comfortable and offered a perfect view of the impressive nature. A real highlight of our trip – highly recommended for those who want to experience the beauty of the Norwegian fjords first hand!

What a fabulous experience! This boat is well set up for a fjord cruise—there is plenty of room both inside and out, including a heated cabin and free coffee. Valerie was a knowledgeable and engaging guide telling about wildlife, area history (including WWII), and life in Finnmark. The captain expertly guided us to see dolphins and plenty of birds. We took a 10 day Arctic cruise and this excursion was a real highlight!

The view of the fjord was completely different from the Sea Runner, I really liked this perspective. The entire crew also made a lot of effort to make the tour a great experience. Everyone on board was very courteous and gave good information about Alta and the fjord. The toilet was clean and tidy and the rest of the ship was in great condition.
