We will meet you at your accommodation in Mexico City to head towards Teotihuacan by private transport. The approximate time to take off in Teotihuacan is approximately 50 minutes (46 km) from the downtown area of CDMX Approximate travel time is 50 minutes by car or van
Zona Arqueologica De Teotihuacan
Upon arrival at the balloonport you will check in and then taste coffee, tea and biscuits before the start of your hot air balloon flight. Balloon ride of 40 to 60 minutes free flight (Time is estimated and will depend on the weather conditions) when returning from the flight we will have breakfast in the restaurant “La Cueva” in Teotihuacan. At the end we head to the archaeological area (Pyramids) you will have free time to tour the site (up to 3 hours) or if you prefer we can return to your accommodation or some point of interest that is on the way back to Mexico City

5.00We had a great hot air balloon experience with Octavio! He was prompt, courteous, and everything went smoothly. The private transfer was ideal since it was just me and my daughter—much more convenient than a group tour. The itinerary is pre-planned, first straight to the balloon ride, then breakfast, then archeology site…. so it’s more about going with the flow than customizing each moment, but that worked well for us. Watching the sunrise from the balloon was absolutely worth it. My 6 year old was provided a small step stool to look over the basket. In April, a t-shirt and light jacket were enough, but I picked up a cute souvenir jacket for my daughter for about $12 USD—just in case. Layers come off as it gets hotter later in the day for the archeology site The breakfast in the cave afterward was delicious and added to the experience though pretty touristy. Everyone kind of converges there from different tours / agencies. The best part: Since everything started super early, my daughter was worn out by the time we reached the archaeological site, but having private transport meant we could just shoot a text off to our host and head home early—super convenient! (We skipped out on the guided tour, which came at an additional/extra cost) Would definitely recommend this experience, especially for families!

5.00The best experience! We had someone pick us up on time from our place. The driver took us to the hot air balloon spot. Everyone was extremely attentive, they gave us coffee, water, hats, and sunscreen. I definitely recommend and will be coming back!

5.00It was an amazing experience. We had a private driver named Octavio and he was very welcoming, took care of us through the whole tour. Ensured we had our pictures taken before boarding the balloon. All staff members took care of the whole group. When we arrived at the pyramids they offered water, snacks, sunscreen and a sombrero. I would definitely recommend this company.
Excellent experience highly recommend.

5.00This was a great experience. Very well run and we were so impressed with the views over Teotihuacan and how close to the pyramid we were taken. The breakfast in the cave wasn’t quite our scene but highly recommend the tour they also offer.

5.00This trip was absolutely amazing! I Booked a 2 person excursion and our guide (Vladimir) was spectacular. I highly advise anyone to spend the little extra money and get the private transportation with Vladimir. Vladimjr is extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Teotihuacan people and the facts around the archeological pyramids. MUST SEE !!!

5.00Er we’re picked up by our driver early in the morning. After a coffee and cake the balloon ride started. This was an wonderful experience. Afterwards we were brought to a Buffett breakfast before we could walk around in the ruins. Everything went well and everybody was friendly ☺️

5.00We had an amazing experience. I can highly recommend it. The team was happy and helpful all the way through. We got picked up on time by Edmundo who was just the nicest guy. We were welcomed by Ginny who helped us register and get ready for the balloon ride. The ride itself was gorgeous. 45 - 60 minutes over the pyramids before they opened. So beautiful. The breakfast was nice where we got to talk with the others in the group. And then we were given some free time at the pyramids to walk around on our own. Thank you so much for today. It was the highlight of our trip 👏
GREAT Experience - didn't care for the pressure to spend more money however.

5.00The experience was so worth the cost! The view of the pyramids from the air cannot be matched. The rest of the tour was fair - the only issue I had was a visit to an "Obsidian and Crafts Workshop" where a tour guide spends about 15 minutes telling you about some plants, and then you're guided into this huge retail outlet with the express purpose of getting you to spend money. We even had stickers per our tour guide so he/she would receive a commission on anything we bought. That I felt was a little heavy-handed. But the experience of the pyramids from the air, as well as the 2-hour walking around on the ground was worthy of the 5.0 review and you shouldn't miss it!
