In this tour, you will discover some of the country's most famous waterfalls such as Seljalandsfoss and the impressive Skógafoss.
Another highlight is Reynisfjara, an endless black sand beach where you will get to see cliffs made of basalt columns making you feel on another planet.
In this tour, you will have the very special opportunity to hike a massive glacier with the proper material and a knowledgeable guide to assist you and keep you safe while giving you all the insights and tips you should know about Iceland and maybe even drinking the purest water in the world straight from the glacier!
Please dress according to the weather. Good hiking boots are required for the glacier hike (minimum size EU 36 / US 5,5 / UK 3,5). Hiking boots are not included in the tour.

Skogafoss
Our first stop is Skogafoss Waterfall. It is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the country and was even featured in Game of Thrones. His 60m drop will keep you speechless for sure. Your guide will tell you all about the hidden treasure chest behind the waterfall and with some luck, you will be the first one to find it.
Solheimajokull Glacier
Now it's time for the highlight of the tour. Besides waterfalls, Iceland is also known for glaciers. 11% of the country is covered by ice. Sólheimajökull is an outlet glacier coming down the fourth biggest glacier of Iceland, called Mýrdalsjökull. We put on our safety gear and start our hike on the glacier. The hike is approximately 2,5h long with 1,5h spend on the glacier. Please note that good hiking boots are mandatory for the glacier hike. We will provide you with all the necessary gear (excluding boots) but full mobility is required in order to have a safe trip on the glacier. All our guides have a lot of experience with glacier hikes and they will make a final decision whether you are able to participate or not when we arrive at the glacier. Please remember that if a guide refuses to let you go on the glacier, the decision is made with your safety in mind.

5.00We had a fantastic time on this trip yesterday. We got a bit lucky with the weather - sunshine and not much wind - which meant we were able to spend lots of time on the glacier and even got to explore inside a crevasse. The trip was well paced and we had plenty time at each location. Our guide Michal was great - his passion for this beautiful country really showed. If you're wondering which south cost trip to pick, choose this one!

5.00Our tour guide Michael was a very very friendly, nice and informative guide! The trip was AWESOME one of the best days in Iceland, the guide was very patience, did not rush us and gave us plenty of time at each destination. The glacier was amazing, lovely tour with a lot of sharing from the tour guide (sharing us a lot of tips in Iceland and wonderful stories) my family and I enjoyed ourselves a lot throughout the ice hiking and the entire tour! Definite recommend!

5.00We went to the glacier with our super guide Michal on a really sunny day. The experience was amazing, with icy watherfalls and a long trip on the glacier. Michal explained very well a lot of curiosities about this beautiful island. He was very helpful and kind the whole group. Very recommended!

5.00The best day trip! Michal was a wonderful host - very friendly and informative :) the glacier hike was out of this world! We were very lucky with the weather and even saw the northern lights on the way home, the perfect day! The fact it was small group made it even more special. Would recommend to anyone as it was such a fun way to see Iceland's south coast.

5.00Didn’t know what to expect on a 10 hour tour. Would it be too long? Absolutely not. It seemed as if it were over too soon. Michal our driver and guide made sure we were comfortable, informed about our journey, explained all the nuances of the destinations we took in and went out his way to make sure this was an adventure we’d never forget. From waterfalls to the black sand beach and a most amazing glacier hike, the trip highlighted much of of the South Coast. Michal let us know about Icelandic history along the way and the cultural significance of each of the places we stopped. He even altered the order of our destinations to accommodate for weather. Well done! On our way home and only 15 minutes from Reykjavik, Michal pulled into a darkened turn out to let our group of 13 know that the Northern Lights were shinning brightly in the night sky. Though it had been a long day for all of us, the chance to take in the Northern Lights capped off what couldn’t have been a better day. They were magnificent. This is kind off thoughtfulness and attention to detail can only be found in a small group tour. I’d recommend this trip and guide to anyone. It was worth every penny of it.

5.00It was amazing! Our guide Michal was such a pro. He brought us to one amazing spot after another for exactly the right amount of time at each. We felt very safe at the glacier, and he balanced keeping a nice pace with pausing at perfect pictures. He taught us all about glaciers, Icelandic culture, and history. On the way back, he found two perfect Northern lights spots. As a bonus we stopped for pictures. He was warm and a delight to spend the day with! Would highly recommend.
