Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up you from your Shanghai hotel. Enjoy the comfortable ride in the air-conditioned car to Zhujiajiao ancient water town,on the way by passing some of the city's amazing skylines. Established as early as 1700 years ago, Zhujiajiao still retains its typical Ming and Qing Dynasty old houses . Upon arrival, spend some quality time to wander around the old alley streets full of local flavors and appreciate the enchanting township senery along the riverside while learning the interesting local culture, history and custom. Visit the peaceful Kezhi garden from the Qing Dynasty, once a private garden owned by the local wealthy family, indulge yourself in the beautiful natural landscape of this ancient garden dotted with the ponds, pavilions and bridges. Pay a visit to the local "City God Temple " to learn the fasinating local religious culture and custom. Sample some of the local authentic food with the recommendations from your guide ;enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the ancient water town to fully appreciate the charming of the "Oriental Venice". After the tour is finished, you will be dropped off back to Shanghai as you need.

5.00The tour was really nice and the tour guide Cassie was very knowledgeable and friendly. In addition to us being lucky with sunny weather this made the tour really enjoyable. We went there as a family with a 1.5 year old and she also had a great time! The food at the restaurant for lunch was really tasty and we all enjoyed it very much. A very well-organised tour that was one of the highlights of our visit to Shanghai

5.00Really well organised tour, from pickup to drop off. Our guide, Robert, was waiting for us in the hotel reception. Car was ready outside and was very luxurious. Robert was highly knowledgeable about Zhujiajao, and took us round at just the right pace. Thanks to his insights our visit was much more enjoyable than had we visited on our own. Lunch was at a fantastic restaurant on the water, and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this tour for families and small groups, was a highlight of our Shanghai visit.

5.00We had an excellent experience with guide Michael. He was very friendly and attentive. We took great advantage of the guided tour, the gondola tour and even took us to know a local food market, where we took great advantage and bought some souvenirs. We highly recommend!

5.00Great tour: very comfortable ride, easy to talk to the tour guide (Lucy), we saw a bunch of market streets (with explanations on what is what there), been in a beautiful private garden, had a lunch in a local place and, of course, took a ride on the boat along the canal! The village is very beautiful, the food is delicious!
