The highlight of this tour is that you can enjoy both sightseeing around Osaka and a pottery experience all in one day.
In the morning, we visit Osaka Castle, a historic landmark with over 400 years of history, where you can feel its powerful energy. I will share with you the timeless charm and fascinating history of this beloved castle.
For lunch, we head to Shinsekai, a deep local spot in Osaka, for a kushikatsu hopping experience. To convey this unique fun, we’ll hop between multiple shops—the local way to enjoy kushikatsu. Be sure to experience the culture of “no double-dipping” with your taste buds!
In the afternoon, we return to the castle town area for a pottery workshop. The studio is a renovated traditional row house over 120 years old, where the owner shares the joy that pottery brings. Touching the clay will help soothe your travel fatigue. Your finished piece will be fired later and shipped to your home, allowing you to enjoy your travel memories across time.

Osaka Castle Park
We’ll meet at Exit 9 of Tanimachi 4-chome Station and walk together to the main entrance of Osaka Castle Park, known as Otemon Gate. After passing through Otemon, we’ll visit Hokoku Shrine, dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and continue through Sakuramon Gate toward Osaka Castle. You’ll then climb to the top of the main tower and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Osaka—just as Toyotomi Hideyoshi might have seen it when he served as kampaku (imperial regent). Next, we’ll cross Gokurakubashi Bridge, pass through Aoyamon Gate, and take a peaceful stroll along the ginkgo tree-lined path leading to the fountain area. Throughout the walk, your guide will share stories about Osaka Castle’s 400-year history, architectural highlights, and fun historical trivia that bring the past vividly to life.
Shinsekai
After leaving Osaka Castle Park, we’ll take the JR Loop Line to Shinsekai, one of Osaka’s most unique and vibrant neighborhoods. There, we’ll visit two different kushikatsu restaurants and enjoy this famous local specialty. Shinsekai is known for kushikatsu, so it’s the perfect place to experience Osaka’s food culture. You’ll also get to see Tsutenkaku Tower, a symbol of Osaka that has stood for over 100 years, watching over the city’s growth.
