Geysers are formations that usually exist in volcanic regions. They are like small volcanoes that erupt with water, expelled through a crevasse. The water that comes out of the geysers is very hot and, when in contact with the air, generates steam, which is even more evident when the air is cold.

We will leave at dawn from San Pedro de Atacama to the Altiplano, climbing the hills and mountains of the Andes. After 1 hour of travel, we will arrive at the Tatio Geysers, a unique natural spectacle in the world, with 80 steaming geysers at 4200 meters high. In this natural setting, we will enjoy breakfast and then we will walk through the geothermal field, surrounded by many smoke columns. Then we will visit the rustic pozón, inside the geothermal field, even if you are not authorized to take a shower.

5.00The way to the Geyser has a winding path and with increased altitude, so my first recommendation is that if you have a tendency to get sick, medicine and try to sit in front, to alleviate symptoms; in addition to taking small glasses of water all the time. 5.00A once in a lifetime experience... If they come for SP from Atacama they can't miss it. We have to get up early, and they'll feel a little cold, but it's worth it. The agency a 10/10.

5.00I completed the Atacama Desert Vacation Package and Uyuni Salar with Traveling With Me. The tours are conducted with third-party companies and all were conducted at the scheduled times, exactly as described in the Vacation Package. Willian is a great Trips agent, attentive and always available to ask questions, besides every day worrying about sending messages to know about your day. I indicate this agency for sure! It was a great choice! The local tb guides are all great!!
