Well worth the time spent for the things we learned and saw. Plenty of time to see it all. Glad we got the boxed breakfast and lunch so we could eat as we went and not stand in lines for what was offered on site. Kevin the tour director and Nelson our driver took good care of us.

Great value for your money, beautiful views, staff was lots of fun, knowledgeable. Dress for the weather it can get cold.

  • Destination was great, listening to guide talking about tips on and on is not.

Picture perfect day, bus arrived exactly on time, and the Grand Canyon is breathtaking!!! We weren't as enamored with the Hoover Dam stop as your stop is behind the dam, so not a good picture unless you were on the right side of the bus to get a moving shot from the bridge. Our only complaint at all is that our tour guide, Lodo, talked *WAY* too much, particularly at the end when he was talking about suggested tips. He talked about tips for over a half hour -- from before we got back into the city until our hotel!!! Talking about how if you leave him a good tip, some people say they win 10x that amount gambling, talking about a suggested tip amount, etc. -- on and on and on and on. Every tour guide mentions a tip at the end, but as a suggeston and nowhere near this extent. We always tip our guide, but this time we never left him one. We felt like we were being badgered about tips. We did leave Stephanie, the bus driver one as she was an excellent driver. Also Lodo is Italian, and we found it sometimes hard to understand him. We would also recommend that Viator include the walking tour option as one you can "tick" when booking as the electronic payment was unpredictable, and not everyone had cash. Would recommend Viator as a way to see the Grand Canyon for sure.
