These classes are designed for beginner and first time surfers and will focus on surfing rules and etiquette and wave riding fundamentals. Classes last 2 hours with a max. group size of 6 to ensure students receive the personal attention they need to develop their surfing skills. Students will learn basic surfing fundamentals, as well as ocean awareness, water safety, wave riding skills, and surf etiquette. We guarantee you will be surfing in one easy lesson your next lesson is free. Ages under 9 years old should take a private lesson for both safety and getting the most from the lesson.

5.00Mikey was an awesome instructor. He went fast in the beginning to make sure we had enough time in the ocean. He would watch each person as they went and somehow remembered the details and provided specific tips, even after he'd observed multiple other people since he watched you.

5.00The description does not lie! Was up and surfing by my second try! This activity is SO fun. Make sure you’re in for an arm workout because it sure is tiring but so worth it! The instructor does an on land demonstration first and then takes you out into the water and finds the best wave for you!

2.00Teacher mocking one of the people in our party in Spanish to the other instructor, about the way someone was holding their hands. My girlfriend speaks Spanish which the instructor didn’t know. It’s a beginner class… obviously people are not going to be doing it perfectly. Super unprofessional and discouraging. Instructor Jae was very patient and helpful. Other teacher not so much.

5.00The whole experience was great. Our teacher, Sofia was the best. Totally friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, warm and down to earth. My friend is less coordinated than me and we both got up and surfed. Success!!! I thought it was going to be harder. But with the right instruction, it was a piece of cake! Muchas Gracias!!!

5.00'm in my sixties and I have wanted to try surfing for 50 years ish. With their help I did it and it was fairly simple. I am fairly athletic. If you have wanted to try surfing but just need a little instruction and encouragement, just do it!!
