Te Au Moana Luau
Te Au Moana, translated as the ocean tide, has always been a constant throughout Oceania, connecting our islands, peoples and generations. Our Polynesian ancestors traversed these oceans tides for ages and revered them for their life sustaining properties. Their stories, which spoke of their expert skills in fishing, gathering and voyaging demonstrated the tremendous depths of knowledge and respect they had to the Earth and its elements. As Hawaii’s premier entertainment company, Tihati Productions endeavors to bring these stories to life at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide”. We invite you to dine as the ocean sits peacefully before you, as it has for thousands of years. We ask you to dance under the Maui skies; the moon and stars await you and we hope that you discover all the fascinating stories at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide” a spectacular lu’au experience like no other!
Includes private table for your booking, three course family-style Hawaiian dinner served tableside, and open bar.

We've been to several luaus over the years, but this was the best in terms of setting, quality and quantity of entertainment, and especially delivery variety and quality of food served. Large portions of each dish were delivered fresh to the table instead of having to stand on long buffet lines. The "lazy Susan" that held the good made it easy for everyone to get all they wanted of each dish and was a fun unique experience compared to other lupus. If you're going to choose one, i would definitely recommend this one.

Disclaimer: this is the first and only luau we’ve been to. Authentic? Beats me. Best on the island? No idea. Was the show entertaining? Absolutely! Was the food plentiful and delicious? Definitely! Open bar with a variety of refreshing tropical drinks and your traditional favorites? Of course. A very scenic venue and we really enjoyed ourselves. Had great conversations with our table mates and everyone around us seemed to be having a great time. Only negative to report is a long walk to the luau venue. There was someone in a walking boot and a person with a walker near us and the trip from parking to the luau was taxing for them. On our way back up to parking after the show, we found and took a paved path that had no stairs (plenty of stairs on the route we were directed to before the show.) Saw a couple of golf carts on the path - perhaps a shuttle is available for those who need it? Didn’t check. Definitely enjoyed our evening!

I paid extra for the premium seating only to get there and realize there were only 3 rows. Food was OK. Though it was a nice show it was considerably more expensive than others and not worth the difference in price
