Ziplining
The course takes you into a steep canyon where you will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a hanging bridge, rappel, and a tarzan swing! (rappel & swing optional)
Horseback Riding - 45-minute ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of the volcano
River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers.
Lunch includes a salad bar, many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated
After lunch you will driven to the Hot Springs & Mud Bath. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Río Negro Hot Springs feature ten pools with waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.

The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano that includes ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, full lunch, hot springs, and volcanic mud bath. Ziplining First you will get strapped in your harness and start the ziplining course through the canopy and canyons! The course takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, where you will zipline, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings. You will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a climbing wall, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel, and a tarzan swing! Horseback Riding After ziplining, you will return to the tour base to prepare for a 45-minute horseback ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano

5.00The activities were a great time. Well organized and very much an adventure. We wish we were told in the tour description that we were stopping at a random place for breakfast at your own expense. Seemingly this is how the drivers and tour guides get their free breakfast by making everyone stop here. We also wish we were told that we would be stopping at a trinket store on the way home after everyone is tired from the day and traffic is snarled. Most people just want to get back from the full day of adventure so we felt like these two things needed to be added in the tour description.

5.00Great day tour! Action packed activities with a nice amount of relaxation too. Jorge G and the driver made the day fantastic. On time but never rushed with a happy positive attitude at all times. 10/10 would recommend.

5.00The packing list you are sent is way too much for this tour. You don’t need as much as they say you do! Here are major things to note: 1) you need closed toe shoes for pretty much all of it. Some people wore the water shoes that are like cross trainers. And they did the all the activities in them. No need to change shoes partway through - I would wear those next time. 2) they provide towels at the hot springs and after the rapid river (don’t pack a towel)! 3) you don’t need a rain jacket - it’s all dry (unless you’re going in a wet season or a rainy day) 4) wear exercise dry fit clothes that dry quickly. You can take them off before the rapid river and safely stowe them by the bathrooms and put them back on after the rapid river. 5) the horseback riding and rapid river is one after the other. Then lunch. So you will eat lunch in a wet bathing suit unless you wear dry fit clothes. Then you may be more comfortably dressed 6) the food options at the buffet are tasty but limited. Rice, beef or chicken/ fish, salad bar and rice pudding. It’s easy to find something. 7) before the canopy tour they offer to take the photos for the entire excursion for a small fee. It is worth it. So you don’t have to feel pressured to take photos - BUT they do not take photos in the hot springs. So bring your camera if you want to take pictures there in a waterproof case as you will be in the water For our tour, Armando our tour guide was incredible!! He was on time. He made sure we knew where to go, what to do, what to wear, how much time we had… etc It was fantastic having him. And he was so helpful with everything and answering all our questions. This tour is a must!!

5.00We were celebrating our 65 birthdays and had an amazing day. We always felt safe and the staff always briefed us on how to do each activity. Definitely wear some insect repellent. We would highly recommend this tour. 10/10

5.00Okay guys if you love fun, adventure and a bit of adrenaline, you need to hit BOOK! We took our 3 sons ages 11, 9 and 7 on this and I want to mention they are short and smaller for their ages and I really hesitated to book this in case my youngest wasn’t able to participate but I am soooo glad I listened to my gut and booked it! We all had the absolute best time ever, the guides were phenomenal at helping and keeping track of the boys when we were rafting, kept it so fun and engaging, gosh I can’t say enough. Everything was perfect, so well run, even my OCD husband commented numerous times about how well organized and safe it all was from the zip lining, horseback riding, river rafting and the hot springs either the cool down in the fresh spring running water was his fav! The bus drivers were absolutely incredible informing us of the culture, policies, history and Caribbean’s side of Costa Rica’s story which was so very interesting and eye opening for us and our kids to see how people can live differently but it all works. We went on our tour Feb 3, 2026, picked up from Casa Lilyum in Tamarindo, I wish I knew all the names but I hope everyone gets recognition for how amazing they were and how they made the tour more then we expected! Core memories made for sure! Pura Vida!

5.00This was a great tour, the white water tubing was the best. There is 3 miles of river that you go down with plenty of rapid areas. They do have people stationed at all the areas that can be a little tricky. The zip lines and horseback were good as well. The Buffett lunch was very good and then we finished with the mud rub and hot springs. It was a long day because we travelled from the tamarindo area but well worth it

5.00Highly recommend!!!! The day is long, but full of adventure. We experienced so many memories on this trip. One word of advice for planning your day - try to limit changing clothes, there was limited space for clothes changing and the time was compressed between events, so some additional stress was experienced in trying to change. A portion of our group wore quick dry clothes for all events and others had dry clothes and wet clothes. Changing between them created the stress.
Great full day adventure where you don't need to stress!!

5.00We had a group of 7. The pick up was bery smooth from our airbnb and the coordinator was very responsive via WhatsApp. They drove us everywhere with a stop at a rest station for little trinkets (buy gifts here as the airport is 5 times more expensive). The activities themselves are phenominal. The crew at Rincone is well trained and are very professional. The lunch afterwards is a traditional costa rican buffet, where I ate 4 plates. For the hot spring, they provide towels. I would recommend Crocs or Sandle equivalent for all of the activities so your shoes don't get wet. I have done this adventure 3 times now and will continue to bring friends and family.
