24, 25, 31 December and 1 January the Palace of Pena and the Quinta da Regaleira will be closed.
In cases where the Palacio da Pena or the Quinta da Regaleira are closed due to natural events (such as storms or fire risk), other alternate places will be visited, such as the National Palace of Sintra and the Palace of Queluz. The tour will not be cancelled in these situations
The guide may need to speak more than one language during the tour
This experience requires a minimum of 4 participants. If you cancel due to failure to comply with this number, a new date or full refund will be presented.

5.00It's a LOT of walking, generally on hills, some a bit steep. Fun, but be ready for it. Our guide, Miguel, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even looking up extra information when we got curious. Highly recommended. Note: read the conditions. Unlike some "all-inclusive" tours, this tour did not include the price of entry tickets or lunch (which meant we stopped for a much better lunch than "included" packages ever provide) and drop-off points at the end are not the same as your hotel pick-up point.

5.00My tour guide was Miguel, proabably one of the best tours guide I've ever met. Not only was he knowlegdge about the history of every place we been to but was able to put his affable and outgoing personality into it. Our day started early around 7:30am but every moment was filled with excitment and intrigue. It was my first time being in Lisbon and we went to Sintra and Cascias. I was able to learn a bit about the history of Sintra and Cascais. He was able to give recommendations to everyone that was on the tour. it almost seems like he know everything there is to know about Lisbon and more. if you manage to get Miguel as your tour guide, you will not be disappointed.

5.00Masterful overview of the many aspects of Sintra. Starting with a pick up at our rented apartment ( right on time), Luis set the tone for learning and fun. Others joined to make a group of 7. Luis has all the inside info on where to park, how to time entrance to palaces, etc. that allowed us to maximize our day. If we did all of that on our own, it would have taken a couple days, and far less informative. Luis provided great narratives of each location, with interesting stories. He was keen to point out architectural details, species of trees, historical periods of windows, the meaning behind all the artifacts/fountains/rooms, etc. that we were experiencing. We stopped at key points to take photos and he often took group shots which he shared with us. Luis truly cares about history, culture and most of all his tour guests. The tour company was absolutely top notch in the personal out reach in advance of the tour and afterwards. We enjoyed the optional lunch and highly recommend it. We felt very fortunate to have had this day and keep the wonderful memories with us.

5.00A wonderful full day experience with a small group of 8 in a very comfortable van. Lots of walking, tons of interesting cultural information, beautiful scenery, and a FANTASTIC guide, Patrik. Tip: Wear good walking shoes.
