24, 25, 31 December and 1 January the Palace of Pena and the Quinta da Regaleira will be closed.
In cases where the Palacio da Pena or the Quinta da Regaleira are closed due to natural events (such as storms or fire risk), other alternate places will be visited, such as the National Palace of Sintra and the Palace of Queluz. The tour will not be cancelled in these situations
The guide may need to speak more than one language during the tour
This experience requires a minimum of 4 participants. If you cancel due to failure to comply with this number, a new date or full refund will be presented.

5.00Sintra was beautiful as well as the breathtaking views of the cliffs and ocean. Our guide, Miguel, was knowledgeable and pleasant. He made the entire day an exceptional treat. He offered us a meal experience that was a picture of authentic Portuguese food and hospitality. Miguel had a wonderful sense of humor and shared the history of his country with pride and joy.

3.00Tour guide Miguel was great! Planned sites were closed due to fire conditions on the mountain and substitute sites were not as interesting. Also group of 8 included on couple who only Portuguese so the guide had to explain everything twice which prolonged the tour. Lunch was outstanding!

4.00If you're traveling in Lisbon this is a must!!! Unfortunately the Pena Palace portion of our tour was cancelled to do fire risk, but it was replaced with another palace (extra charge). To be honest, the Sintra portion of the tour was the only good part. Cascais is just a beach town with a lot of souvenir shipping places that would be cheaper to drive out to and Cabo da Roca is a huge cliff looking into the Atlantic Ocean, it's beautiful but there are a lot of pick pockets there and not much to do after about 5 minutes. But Sintra is a very cool little village with a lot of palaces, each with it's own unique story and history. Some day I hope to come back and visit Pena Palace, the pictures I've seen are amazing.

5.00Our trip was amazing! Patrick, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable. Provided great history lessons/context for each of the places we visited. Spoke at least 5-6 different languages and was able to provide perspective from all of his travels as well. Beyond that, he was a kind/caring person. One of the gems from our visit to Lisbon.
