Too much yet not enough for one day.

This tour is for those who want to pack everything in one day. But be warned! It over promises and does not deliver. The amount of time spent was more than advertised. And yet we didn’t spend quality time in some places. The tour guide discouraged us from seeing the inside of the Pena Castle and then asked the group. Of course everyone said they didn’t want to after being talked out of it. Offering to see the inside and outside was included, yet it didn’t happen. It says 3 hours to visit Sintra after Quinta da Regaleira, but we barely had time for lunch and a walk about to get a pastry. It was more like 1.5 hour.

This tour was amazing. Our guide Ricardo was outstanding. I have never seen a guide a so knowledgable and enthusiast about his job. He was courteous, patient and ready to do any help to make us comfortable. Bruno was our coguide and he was amazing too. I rate this trip and especially Ricardo 10/10.

This tour was very comprehensive and organized. Our guide provided great information. They provide headsets per language which was great so guides aren't speaking over each other. It was nice that we were able to skip the long lines due to entering as a tour group. Please note: this tour includes LOTS of walking uphill so if you have knee or ankle problems, this may not be suitable.
