The journey begins with a bike ride through the picturesque countryside to Tra Que Village, famous for its fresh vegetables, which are supplied to many local restaurants. These vegetables are essential for making Hoi An’s signature dish, Cao Lau, with its perfect blend of flavors.

We then return to town, where you will learn how to make the famous “white rose” dumplings with a local family and enjoy tasting your handmade creations. Afterward, we head to a renowned local restaurant to try Cao Lau, a traditional dish featuring local noodles, pork, fresh herbs, and crispy rice paper. The noodles are made using water from Ba Le Well, the oldest well in Hoi An, believed to provide the perfect taste.

5.00We had a really amazing time learning all about the different areas of food production in and around Hoi An, as well as enjoying making wantons. There was actually a choice of riding on the back of a motorbike or cycling, but we decided to stick to cycling. If you go on a motorbike, you can relax a bit more in the city as you dont have to worry about the traffic, and in the countryside you can take photos whilst riding. But on a bicycle, we were able to control where we were going a lot more. Highly recommended tour!

5.00This was a great day. Our tour guide Key was very knowledgeable and fun. There were only 4 of us on this trip. Be prepared to bike through the city before entering the country side. This was a bit nervewracking with all the traffic. We made several stops along the way. got to see farmers working the fields, and stopped for several food tastings. We got to make our very own dumplings at a local restaurant. It was a fun day and I'd highly recommend it.

5.00I CAN NOT BELIEVE I did not rate this tour earlier - I sure have thought about it a lot since my trip - what an opportunity of a lifetime - that I will never forget! Our tour guide was THE BEST. So thoughtful, caring, funny - this guy is going places. He was working so hard on his English and was doing a super job and he could not have made our trip ANY more special! I hope you can look up his name and tell him how much his time and knowledge meant to us. I only hope to be back some day:
