Mutianyu Great Wall
You will hike on the Mutianyu Great Wall. This section is ranked top on TripAdvisor among all the Great Wall sections due to its picturesque scenery and beautifully restored architecture. This is the most child-friendly section, with various ways of visiting it. In order to save your time, we will arrange a round-trip cable car to ascend and descend the wall, instead of spending about 40 minutes on steps... twice. We recommend “the most beautiful and interesting part of the Great Wall” — between the 14th and 23rd watchtowers — acknowledged by hikers as "the golden route". Your personal guide will walk with you on the Wall to give you some information and to help you if you want photos with the Wall. You will have some free time to walk around after that. Enjoy your time and take in the spectacular scenery for about 2 hours (2–3 kilometers). Walk at your own pace. It is possible to stay longer on the wall or finish earlier as you wish.

5.00I went to visit the Great Wall during China's public holidays (which means it was very crowded) and thanks to the guide's recommendations we were able to access the Great Wall without any problems. Bobjack is a great guide, very friendly, attentive and very well-informed about the culture and history of China.

5.00Very nice day seing the Mutianyu Great Wall in Winter with the snow around on the mountains ! Everything was well organized including the pick-up at the hotel and we was only two people with our guide Sunny and the driver of the car. She was very attentive to our needd and wishes and speak a perfect fluent english. She gave us all the interesting informations concerning the Great Wall, it's building and the chinese culture. I recommand ! Guy

5.00Communication before to direct correct pickup location for the car with our guide Susie. She was happy and had a lot of useful information about Beijing. The driver was safe and the vehicle was modern, clean, spacious, airconditioned, tinted windows to reduce the sun. A memorable day. Thanks to the tour we could just get through all the sights and see the highlights quickly. Susie called ahead to make sure our lunch was ready for us and took care about any dietary requirements. It was nice to eat in a small group and learn more about the food and customs. At the wall we had time to walk by ourselves and take photos. We went down on the toboggan. If you want to go slow in your group arrange for the speedy people to go first so they can go faster! Thanks for a memorable day! Susie offered to help find tickets for shows and other events if we needed help on our drive back to the city. If you have limited time, this tour packs a lot into one day. If you have more time you can revisit. I would have loved to spend much more time at the Forbidden City. Thanks to Susie and our driver.

5.00We had a great day visiting the Great Wall with our guide King Kong. Very knowledgeable, attentive to everyone in the group and well organised. Many thanks too for encouraging our 10-year old to get up all those big steps. She had a blast and so did we.

4.00I really enjoyed the tour of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. It was a convenient way of seeing the main tourist attractions in 1 full day. Our guide, Jennifer, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

5.00We had a whole day tour of both Great Wall and Forbidden City with Our guide Sunny and driver Mr Hu. Sites are amazing as they are, there is not much to add to that fame. But the way they were presented to us, the way that stories were told, some as facts and some as fairy tales, is beyond amazing. Understanding signifacance of all things seen can only be attributed to a great guy which Sunny is. Very cultured, well spoken, patient, yet not overbearing and always ready to answer questions of any nature. Gave us enough time on our own too to explore and letting us make choices along the way. No unnecessary shopping side trips, and nothing that will make you feel uncomfortable. She seems to have good relationship with all ticketing counters and managed to skip all lines. Driver was great guy too, managed to smile his way through Beijing traffic, avoiding all the tough spots facing national holiday. He never lost his cool and there was was reasons to. Top professional. Not to forget, they took us to an authentic Chinese restaurant when we said we were hungry, not when they planned it. It was a great place to eat and share tables with locals. All in all, one of the best all day trips we have taken in China. Many thanks once again, it will stay in our memory forever! And one more thing, at the end of the day Sunny also forwarded us a few fotos that she made of us which turned out to be the best of all! Thank you! Thank you!
