This group tour is exclusively in English. Our city tour enables the visitor to discover the best of Bayeux and Normandy history. Admire and identify the architectural features of its medieval buildings and its superb cathedral. Let your guide regal you with stories of ancient trades and old customs. Learn about major events and little anecdotes over many centuries.
This tour is perfect to complement your visit to the D-Day beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry, the Museum of Arts and History, the War Memorial Museum and the Bayeux cathedral. We aim to provide an enjoyable and informative tour. Our guides are fluent, knowledgeable and fun! Suitable for >8 years old. All participants should have a good level of English.

The many standing stops might become tiring for back sufferers or pregnant ladies: we recommend you bring a foldable stool. We will also use public benches wherever possible.
Be mindful that there are no "nature call" stops during this 2 hour tour, therefore it is recommended to plan ahead.

5.00We had a fabulous walking tour around Bayeux! What a wonderful place. Marie, our guide, was fantastic—so knowledgeable and engaging. She pointed out details we would have completely missed on our own and gave us just the right amount of history to bring the city to life. It was the perfect way to spend a morning!
