Cam Thanh Village, known as the kingdom of coconut palms, attracts a lot of tourists not only for its beauty but also for its historical value. Join our tour, it is the perfect way to explore and get closer to the local life of the fisherman people here.
You will experience a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers, and learn all ingredients for the meals. Ride a basket boat for 45mins around the forest to explore the river channels of the Cam Thanh community, and enjoy coracle boat performances by locals which are really exciting. You will be provided instruction from the local fisherman, and learn how to make souvenirs from palm leaves, enjoy boat shaking and crab-catching, and attend a lantern-making class. There will also be a cooking class course by the local host and lastly, enjoy Vietnamese foods made by yourself.

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel. Going to experience a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers, and know all ingredients for the meals.
Take you to Phu Lanh Travel. You will enjoy a welcome drink. And then go to Cam Thanh coconut palm village. Upon arrival, our guide will take a brief about the village as well as the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community before you board on coracle boat.

5.00My family and I had an absolutely wonderful half day tour with our excellent guide, Hami. There was so much crammed into it and every part of the morning we spent was just great.. We were first shown around the local market and had some of the more exotic fruits and vegetables shown to us. Hami was knowledgeable and very clear in her explanations. We were then taken to the companies headquarters by the water where we spent a very enjoyable time making our own lanterns. Ha Mi was incredibly patient and ensured that we all left with something that was actually presentable and worth hanging onto! After this, there was a very thorough cooking lesson in which we learned to make several dishes from scratch including chicken and papaya salad , some excellent vegetable spring rolls, the traditional rice pancakes with meat and prawns, and the local speciality noodles with sliced pork. I could not believe how much was taught to us in that hour, and the results were really pleasing - and tasty! After lunch we took a trip on the traditional coconut shaped boats rowed around by some delightful older ladies who led us through water palm forests . I thoroughly recommended this tour - and a big thank you to Hami for being such a wonderful guide.

5.00This was an EXCEPTIONAL tour. It was perfectly planned and hassle free. Our guide was so friendly, kind and very well knowledgeable about the local culture. It was a very wholesome afternoon ! we left with a warm feeling that we will be coming back very soon - Hoi An will always have a place in our heart ❤️
