Plus, enjoy a walking tour a Big Buddha walking tour on Lantau Island, where you’ll see the island’s top sights like Tai O fishing village and, of course, the Big Buddha (also known as the Giant Buddha or Tian Tan Buddha). You also have a choice of upgrading to include the glass-bottomed crystal cabin of the Ngong Ping Cable Car.

My friend and I booked a crystal cabin for going up and the 360 view was incredable. I highly recommnended if you are in Hong Kong or one of the surronding islands.

The cable car operation was suspended due to rain, citing safety reasons, and passengers were not allowed to board. Unfortunately, our family was scheduled to return to Hong Kong around 6:00 PM. The handling of the situation was far from ideal. There was no prior information stating that the service would stop in case of rain, which caused significant inconvenience. Many visitors, including us, were forced to wait for a very long time in a long, standing queue. The waiting area was poorly ventilated and only equipped with fans, making it feel very stuffy. They mentioned that buses would be provided to bring people down, but the decision-making process took an unreasonably long time. It was frustrating that while they could predict the risks of operating during rain, they seemed unprepared to make a timely decision whether to proceed with cable cars or arrange immediate bus transport.

I came to visit, the queue management is very bad, making me wait for a long time and those who booked through the agency have to wait for a long time to exchange the ticket, having to stand and wait for 1-2 hours. The ticket price is expensive, the system management is not good at all. If possible, do not come here, it is crowded. The staff service is not good, they speak very badly. I feel not impressed when I come here and will not come again. I bought a crystal cable car ticket, and I still had to sit with people I didn't know. It was terrible to have this kind of experience.

Good. But beware the queues. Absolutely horrible at peak time. Two hours + Polite staff and clean. Great views, toilets in gift shop

It was too crowded tough this is must visit when you are travelling to Hongkong. You will go through an adventurous cable car ride, a walk through ngong city and you will witness a great ambience of village like place. Than you will witness the great lord buddha. After climbing almost 400 stairs you will witness lord and feel so much of positivity.

Disgusting money grabbing service, told us the temple was shut but failed to mention the 3 hour long ques that was already in place the other end to get back down. Traveled all of this east to HK from UK to see a parade that we missed trying to get down … Would not recommend as even the pods were dirty so all the pictures were ruined

The cable car is beautiful and worth seeing. You can buy tickets in advance to reduce the waiting time. The food in Po Lin Monastery is delicious. Climbing is comfortable. Hong Kong is beautiful in autumn and winter. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is beautiful. The Buddha is beautiful. The tofu pudding is sweet. It is recommended to inform customers of the waiting time for the cable car. This way, they can queue more calmly. It is a worthwhile attraction.
