Mehmet was outstanding! From the first minute we met we knew it was going to be insightful, knowledgeable, fun and very memorable. Mehmet knowledge of his culture and history was second to none. Our experience was highten with his personal attention to detail and making sure when we go home we have an understand of Istanbul and left us wanting to come back for more. We have taken tours throughout the past ten years so I can honestly say this was the best. Mehmet is an outstanding representation of your company.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and communicative. He enjoyed giving us detailed history of the places we were seeing, perhaps at a level beyond our ability to process. This added an element of time that we really didn't have, as the lines for each of the places we were to have seen made for very slow going. He probably miscalculated by taking us to the palace first, which engaged us for 2 1/2 hours due to the lines. We then ate lunch, and kept waiting for the lines for the Haggia Sophia and the Blue Mosque to shorten--but they never did. As a result we learned about them, but didn't get to enter either of them. This was a disappointment since the Haggia Sophia was likely the most important place we would have wanted to see. So the entire day fell short of our expectations. Several in our group were quite disappointed and angry over how the day turned out. I don't lay the blame entirely on the guide, although he probably should have taken us to the mosques first and left the temple--about which we cared the least--for last.

The guide, Meti, is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic to explain and answer questions. It is worthwhile to have this trip. We feel sorry not to give tips because we had used up all our cash. Thank you, Meti.
