If you don't want to see a ham factory, I also suggest a Lambrusco winery.
Our companies are small and family-run and you can speak with the owners.
It will be fun! There will be plenty of tastings!
You are going to real factories.
We can start at any time, even in the afternoon, if the morning is not possible for you.

5.00Amazing experience visiting small family operations. It was mind boggling to think we were standing in a small villa that housed 10% of the world’s balsamic vinegar. The Parmesan tour was great, and finally the Parma ham plant, and lunch. Filippo was a great guide.

5.00Our tour was awesome. Filipino, an area native, was extremely knowledgeable not only about the three facilities we visited but also about the history of the region. He also patiently answered many general questions we had about daily “Italian” life. The small producers that we visited we fascinating experiences! We have been on many tours, all good, but this one was EXCEPTIONAL!

5.00Our tour with Laura was great. She’s very communicative on WhatsApp and went above and beyond to help us while we had to navigate a train strike. Laura has wonderful and authentic relationships with artisanal creators of Balsamic Vinegar, Parmesan Reggiano and Prosciutto de Parma. It’s wonderful to see family businesses thrive and support a tour that lends itself to these types of producers.

4.00We enjoyed going to the Parmesan, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar production sites. The samplings were delicious. The lunch was also delicious. Our host was knowledgeable and nice. The only surprise was that we thought we were being picked up at the train station for the day and it turned out we had to drive our own car around the countryside to the various cities. We were the only two people on the tour so I’m not sure how this would have been handled had there been more people.
Worth every penny especially being a private tour.

5.00I expected a tour with other people it was a private tour all the places we went to were small private tours we met the all the owners. Our guide Fillipo was great he knows the history of the area and was really helpful translating the language for us. They pick you up right at where you are staying Laura was super with communicatioing before our actually tour date. We'll worth what we payed.
