5.00Well worth the trip, however the walk to St Michael’s Cross is uphill and quite strenuous. Our guide Valeria was excellent, as was our driver.

3.00It is not a cog train, just a normal train, too short a ride after long bus ride . Too much free time. Tour could have been shorter

5.00You may be wondering if you want to "give up" a day of your vacation to go on this all day excursion. The answer is absolutely, yes! Monserrat is a unique and lovely place whose history is rich! Ride the funicular to the top for beautiful views, see the Black Madonna! You'll be glad you did.
