  This is the first extremely poor Viator trip I’ve had. The driver was late and then it was established he was not only late but waiting at the wrong hotel. This meant having been told a 3.30am pick up it was actually 4.05am. The car was then shared with two other passengers and in essence we were sat in the boot. Fortunately it was my daughter and I and we are small - my husband would simply not have fit in. Due to the size it was incredibly uncomfortable - on the way back we stopped at a coffee plantation and had to order a grab for the rest of the journey as the conditions were unsuitable for travelling. Sadly, no sunrise but this can’t be planned for so the review is not about the sunset but the experience of the travel to get to Mount Batur. The only private element of the trip was the jeep at Mount Batur.

  erroneous instructions- pickup different from operator than the website so we missed the trip .. imagine from 1:30 in the morning to 5::00am of waiting and traveling.. ni sleep and rest.. worst is i was promised for refund but nothing

  Great tour, they picked us up early morning from our hotel. Took us to mt batur where we got into the 4x4 jeep with our deiver komang who took us to mt batur sunrise point. He is a great guy, also took great photos of us. Definitely recommend.

  Very good service, very good friendly guide. Helped to take a lot of amazing photos and explained about the place. Highly recommend!
