5.00Great trip. Collected from our hotel and taken to meet the jeep. Our driver got us the best spot on the front row to watch the sunrise. He brought us our breakfast so we could relax. Following the amazing sunrise we were taken to the lava fields. We had a great time at the hot springs and the coffee plantation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trip.

5.00We were punctually picked up by our driver and taken to the location where we switched to the jeep driver. Both gentlemen were polite and considerate, making the experience smooth. Unfortunately, it rained all day, and we missed the sunrise, but we plan to come back another time to experience it properly. Despite the weather being out of his control, our jeep driver apologised and went out of his way to make us comfortable. He provided hot tea, coffee, and a small breakfast, which we greatly appreciated.
Do not do this tour on rainy season (Dec to April)

3.00Unfortunately, december to april is rainy ssason in Bali. The ‘suzuki jeep driver’ told us that its been raining almost everymorning in Mt Batur for more than a month now. But surprisingly, he didn’t add a cover to his jeep or brought an umbrella like other jeep drivers we saw in our batch. His front passenger seat is even broken so none of us can use that so we end up soaked!! We can buy a poncho but it didn’t even occurred to him that he needs to have a cover on his suzuki to protect his clients. Its not woth to to go to Mt Batur during these months as u won’t see sunrise or enjoy the ride. Moreover, we expected that our ride is a ‘jeep’ not old suzuki. The good thing in this tour is the hot springs; we really enjoyed it.

5.00Our driver name was Kavit. He was cool and nice tell us the story about the Batur village how was it before the eruption. He makes really nice picture from us. I reccommend him.

5.00Worth the early get up, as it's an experience that you won't do everyday. From the hotel pick up, jeep ride, snacky breakfast and Black volcanic rock it's just wow after wow. Add the hot springs and coffee plantation to add extra bits the region has to offer so you crush your bali visit to maximise the experience. Ask your driver to stop at the viewing point on the way home so you get amazing view of Mount Batur in all it's glory, sitting it's it's supervolcano crater.
