  Our Guide Imran did a great job today. With an overcast day we were not able to go to the fifth tier, but with Imran’s experience we had the best day with some of the most spectacular views. Knowledge is key to a great tour guide Imran thankyou. I would recommend Imran as your tour guide.

  You get to see the highlights of the areas and cities around My. Fuji. It would be challenging to cover as much ground on your own. The pick up and drop off from the hotel was convenient.

  We had a most wonderful day with Imran! He arrived at our hotel early (which was great) and from the very beginning and throughout the day was friendly, polite, helpful and very accommodating. He wanted to ensure that we had a chance to see as many of the beautiful sights around Mt. Fuji as possible while giving us ample time to enjoy each place. We would highly recommend this tour and, if possible, request Imran as your guide. Mt. Fuji is spectacular and we are most grateful for our time with Imran - his efforts to accommodate our wishes and his willingness to go above and beyond were very much appreciated! We went around the entire mountain stopping at beautiful places for photos, a motor boat ride, visiting shrines and pagodas and traditional Japanese villages. It was an amazing day!! Thank you!

  We took a day trip with a local guide in Japan, who drove us from Tokyo to the Mount Fuji area and back. We were three couples and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The guide was punctual, polite, and helpful throughout the journey. Although his English was limited, he managed to communicate the essentials and did his best to make our day enjoyable. The ride was comfortable, and we got to see some beautiful scenery. Overall, it was a good experience for those looking for a calm and hassle-free visit.

  Viator, we cannot believe that you recommend/offer this tour. It had a 97% 5-star rating. We got a driver (honestly don’t think he was a tour guide) with a banged up, dirty (so many fingerprints and smudges on the window) minivan. We stayed at a well-known hotel and were waiting in the front entrance, where all tours are picked up. He came late because he was waiting at the side entrance. We were never told to meet there. He did not introduce himself or ask us our names. He drove in silence the entire way up; when we asked him a question, he said he would talk to us at the stops. He did very little talking even then, and did not seem very knowledgeable or able to answer our questions. He was a nice young man and good driver, but he is not trained to lead a tour of those sites. We did notice when we got back and looked again at your website, in very small letters at the very end of all the information for that tour, it says run by Matcha Tour. That did not mean anything to us as we believed we could trust your company. We are very very disappointed. We travel quite a bit and are now very hesitant to use Viatour.
