Chureito Pagoda
The Chureito Pagoda, located in Fujiyoshida City, Japan, offers stunning views of Mount Fuji. It is a five-storied pagoda situated within the Arakura Sengen Shrine. Visitors climb a series of steps to reach the pagoda, where they can enjoy panoramic vistas, especially during cherry blossom season. The pagoda has become an iconic spot for photography enthusiasts and tourists alike. It's advisable to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds and capture the best views
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, at the northern foot of Mount Fuji. It serves as the main entrance to the Yoshida Trail, one of the traditional climbing routes to the summit of Mount Fuji. The shrine is dedicated to Konohanasakuya-hime, the Shinto goddess of Mount Fuji, and it has a long history dating back to ancient times. Visitors often come to the shrine to pray for safe travels and successful climbs before embarking on their journey up the mountain.

Driver was very friendly and very accommodating in choosing the sights we wanted to visit. Did not have any issues with the last site which end up returning to the hotel very late.

It was a pretty rainy day. The driver texted the day before to try to move the departure time earlier than 7am; we did not move this time and also did not encounter a lot of traffic out of Tokyo. So I don't understand why he tried to move the time. Since my wife had some difficulties walking, the driver/guide decided to skip the Chureito Pagoda and the Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine. It wasn't clear to me that both these places were difficult to walk. Our first stop was at a gas station which gave nice views of a valley. Next was Oshino Hakkai which essentially is a big market and very touristy. OurI driver left us in the market and disappeared for some time. We wandered some of the town which is interesting and returned to the parking area where we found our driver. Our next stop was Mt. Fuji 5th Station, which we explored again on our own. The driver was not interested in our interests, and it took us some time to find an area not full of tourists. We walked the road leading to the ascent of Mt. Fuji - would have liked to walk further, but we spent too much time finding this area. Because of the weather we never saw the top of Mt. Fujji. Next stop was lunch in a pretty big restaurant. The food was good and plentiful! We then drove near Lake Kawaguchiko but only got a glance because it was raining. I would have liked to stop somewhere to take a better look at the ducks on the lake but our driver felt it rained too much to stop anywhere. So we drove back to our hotel. While I feel that the driver could have given a little more attention to what we were interested in, he did a good job driving.

Amir was the best tour guide! We got a stunning view of Mount Fuji from the distance with no cloud in site, went to a shrine, got on a speed boat and saw the mountain from the lake, had a great recommendation for lunch, and to top it off, had the best ice cream for dessert. All in all, highly recommend booking this tour.

Our tour from Tokyo to Mount Fuji was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Mohid, was very knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable with his stories about Japanese culture and local traditions. The bus was comfortable, clean, and perfectly on time. We especially loved visiting Lake Kawaguchi and Oshino Hakkai — both were absolutely beautiful. The weather was sunny and clear, giving us breathtaking views of Mount Fuji. Highly recommended for anyone planning to visit! Tip: leave early in the morning to avoid heavy traffic and crowds at popular tourist spots. 🙂

Azhar did a great job guiding us on the trip. He was fully informed of each site we visited and able to answer all questions. Had obviously done this trip many times being familiar with all aspects of the site logistics. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable. Would recommend this trip as a great way to see Mt Fuji and associated cultural sites in the area all in one day.
