Lake kawaguchiko has a surface elevation of approximately 830 meters, which accounts for its relatively cool summers and icy winters. The area surrounding Lake Kawaguchiko. 5.00What a fantastic day! Prem, our driver, was right on time and made the journey to Mt. Fuji incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. Along the way, he thoughtfully stopped for snacks and ensured we had everything we needed. He perfectly balanced giving us freedom to explore with having a well-planned itinerary for guidance, which we definitely needed. Prem took us to the shrine, the lake, the pagoda, and even found the ideal spot for a delicious sushi lunch. If we were not feeling a certain location, he was happy to adjust and take us somewhere else. On top of that, he was a skilled and careful driver, making the long trip relaxing and fun. His friendliness, thoughtfulness, and expertise made the entire day truly memorable. Overall, we could not recommend Prem highly enough. He is an outstanding driver and guide.

5.00A truly memorable experience — the Hello Kitty boat ride on Lake Kawaguchi is not to be missed. Our chauffeur, Usman, was outstanding: professional, kind, and remarkably patient. His photography skills captured our family moments beautifully, turning an ordinary trip into something special. I was genuinely impressed that we managed to visit all the key attractions around Mt. Fuji, even with two young children (ages 6 and 10) and my wife, who enjoys a bit of leisurely window shopping. Usman coordinated the day seamlessly, guiding us through each scenic and Instagram-worthy location, taking wonderful photos despite the crowds, and even queuing to buy flower-flavored ice cream for our family. A highly recommended tour for families seeking comfort, efficiency, and unforgettable memories around Mt. Fuji.

1.00No tour guide!!! Horrible customer service!! I called Viator to find out where the tour guide was located, after taking a train from the port terminal to the meeting which was over 1/2 hour from the cruise port. No one there.

3.00We recently went on a tour to Mt. Fuji, and overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. The weather was perfect — clear skies all day — and we were lucky enough to get an incredible view of Mt. Fuji. The stops along the way were enjoyable and well-planned, and the day felt truly special. Traveling from our hotel in Tokyo took about 3 hours due to traffic leaving the city. Our guide, Mani, had kindly warned us ahead of time that leaving earlier would help beat the traffic, but being from the US East Coast and coming off a late night, we were okay with the slower pace. The only real criticism from our group was the strong, unpleasant odor in the van. It seemed as though someone may have spent the night in the vehicle, and unfortunately, the smell made the 3-hour ride each way quite uncomfortable. It really impacted our comfort level during an otherwise great day. We truly appreciated Mani’s insights and the overall organization of the tour, but we do hope that future guests get to enjoy a fresher and more comfortable ride.

5.00Great trip to Mt. Fuji. The vehicle was clean and spacious with the driver answering our questions and pointing out different things along the way. He made several suggestions which were very helpful to our trip and told us information at each stop. He was even nice enough to drop us off at a different location in Tokyo on our way back.
