Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a small village located near Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It's renowned for its pristine and crystal-clear spring water, which flows from Mount Fuji's snowmelt and underground springs. The village is home to eight ponds (hakkai means "eight seas" in Japanese) fed by this water source. 5.00We had a fantastic day with Ali who was our driver cum guide and he was with us from pick-up to drop off on this great Mt. Fuji day trip. Ali was punctual, respectful, a safe driver and gave us enough information about the area and above all is a phenomenal photographer. He took some great family pictures and taught us a few new tricks. We would be happy to recommend Dream tours Japan, particularly ask for Ali as your guide. Thanks and well done !! 5.00It was a beautiful day for our Mt. Fuji excursion. And our guide made the day a memorable one; from confirmation our pick up the previous day to arriving promptly on our scheduled day and time. Mr Shaw's gentle yet professional style made for a relaxed yet full all day trip. We visited Oshino Hakkai, took a boat ride around Tenjōsan Lake Kawaguchi, lunched at a local restaurant, visited Arakurayama Sengen Park, saw Mt. Fuji from all sides and angles, all the time with Mr. Shah finding the best spots and taking the best pictures for us. And Mr. Shaw is an excellent driver. This was a wonderful day! Kudos Mr. Shaw! Keep up the good work!

5.00Great day with Imran. Beautiful sites and a very knowledgeable and polite guide. Despite the rain, Imran made sure the day wasn’t wasted. We had a lot of options for either the adventurous or slow paced traveler.

5.00Far better than traveling with a large group. Our guide Ali was fantastic. He arrived as planned at the hotel and talked us through the it for the day. Each stop was perfectly timed, we were never rushed, in fact Ali asked if the timings were ok or whether we would like longer in any particular place. He knew all the best spots to take some great photos. Would highly recommend.

3.00This tour is essentially just a driver taking you to different places, mentioning the name, and offering to take a picture of your family (though he did not accompany us up to the Chureito Pagoda, so we were on our own there). If you’re interested in learning history or any interesting facts about the landmarks on this tour, do not go on this one. If you just want a friendly chauffeur who knows where to go, then this tour will work.
