Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a small village located near Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It's renowned for its pristine and crystal-clear spring water, which flows from Mount Fuji's snowmelt and underground springs. The village is home to eight ponds (hakkai means "eight seas" in Japanese) fed by this water source. 5.00Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was completely cloud covered on the day I booked (October 7). My guide, Mr. Shah, still made the trip worthwhile. We visited: Oshino Hakkai - 8 Sacred Ponds, Lake Kawaguchiko, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinji Shrine, Narusawa Ice Cave, and Saiko Iyashi no sato Nenba Village. Mr. Shah was informative and flexible to changing the schedule due to the cloudy conditions.
Excellent experience travelling the roads in Japan with Ali !

5.00Ali was v precessional and did an excellent job manouvering us all Accross Japan and an excellent driver ! He went above and beyond , recommending great places and even took excellent pictures for us ! We would definitely recommend Ali to all our friends and future travels ! 5.00Shah was an incredible guide for our trip from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji. He took us to multiple scenic spots. Weather was cloudy but he set our expectations right. He was very knowledgable about each of the tourist points and gave us sufficient time to explore. Highly recommend this private day trip to see Mt Fuji !!!! Thanks to Shah for a fantastic day!

5.00Our guide Ali was amazing. Pick-up on time. Pleasant drama free drive out to Mount Fuji. He has done this tour many times so we let him guide us. We saw all the must-see spots. For lunch he took us to a great little restaurant near the famous Lawson’s. The final two stops were Fuji Sengen-jinja and Churei-to Pagoda. Thankfully we had great weather and great views of Fuji
I recommend Recommendation for everyone. Especially the alibi.

5.00We had a fantastic day with Ali who was our driver cum guide and he was with us from pick-up to drop off on this great Mt. Fuji day trip. Ali was punctual, respectful, a safe driver and gave us enough information about the area and above all is a phenomenal photographer. He took some great family pictures and taught us a few new tricks. We would be happy to recommend Dream tours Japan, particularly ask for Ali as your guide. Thanks and well done !! 5.00Mid-July with the weather being cloudy but sunny with the peak of Fuji barely visible for very short durations. The tour was fantastic. Shah was very helpful and eager to provide quality service for a wonderful tour. We went to see Oshino Hakkai, very beautifully clear ponds where you can enter a Fuji museum that has fish to feed for 100 yen a bag and lovely flowers. Next was the boat ride for a separate 10000 yen that was absolutely worth it. It’ll make you wish you had a boat and a lake if you don’t already. Then we went to Arakurayama Sengen Park with great views of temples and Fuji when it’s clear enough. Lastly was Oishi Park where they had a nice lake to skip rocks, a beautiful garden great for pictures, and a cafe with 5/5 perfect ice cream; from the flavor to the texture to the cone. Absolutely must for a Fuji experience!

5.00Shah was very accommodating. Our son hurt his knee the day before and he communicated with us on what would be a lot of walking. He was able to modify the trip so that we could all enjoy ourselves. Shah also told us where to take the best pictures and used our phones to take lots of pictures of our family. It was our last day in Japan and it was nice to be in an air conditioned van and actually enjoy the places we went to without being drenched in sweat. A perfect last day. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking to get a glimpse of things outside if Tokyo and see the outskirts.
