Join us for a narrated and scenic drive from San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge, explore the beauty of Giant Coastal Redwoods at Muir Woods and appreciate the astonishing views from Sausalito's picturesque waterfront.
We also run this tour in the afternoon, if there is a sufficient number of people.
Muir Wood tour can be combined with San Francisco City tour and/or Half Day Wine Tour to Sonoma.

5.00Michael was patient and pleasant ∧ was full of history stories (which I love). You can tell he knows the area well. A most delightful trip! The photo op for the bridge was also excellent. The woods are something to behold & as others have said, the town is meh. But it’s a good place to eat lunch.

3.00Make sure to call and book a child’s ticket for under age 5. Also have car seats if you are bringing your children. Ok adventure if you are trying to fill up your day.

2.00While the Muir Woods did not disappoint the cost of nothing more than a ride to and from with a driver who was negative about everything was a complete waste of money. I’d suggest taking a Lyft or renting a car for the day and enjoying the area on your own time.

He was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing fascinating facts about the redwoods, wildlife, and history of the forest in a way that kept everyone engaged. If you love nature, peaceful walks beneath towering trees, and learning the story behind what you’re seeing, this tour is an absolute must. Muir Woods is beautiful on its own, but experiencing it with a guide like Ulrich takes it to another level. Highly recommend! John Muir and Teddy Roosevelt would be very proud 🥹 🌲✨

5.00An amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide Ulrich was fun and knowledgeable, pick up was outsode our hotel. We stopped for pics at tje golden gate, then on to Muir woods. The woods were amazing and we had an hour to walk the trail, have a coffee and look around the gift shops. Sausalito was a pretty little town, we stopped off for food and a beer, did some shopping. We opted to go back on the bus, but there was an option to stay and get the ferry back. Thank you Ulrich!
