  Great experience and well worth cost. Jerry was our driver and did an excellent job of pointing out landmarks and history. Very knowledgeable about area. Very accommodating for pics and sights along the way. Only negative was that he should use microphone when pointing out sites as difficult to hear in the rear of van

  What a fun tour!! Muir Woods is beautiful and the amount of time allowed for exploration was just right. We had already been to Sausalito so opted to take the ferry back to San Francisco. Buddy was knowledgeable, informative and had just the right amount of humor to keep us awake. There were 12 of us on this tour and Buddy made us all feel like old friends. A great experience.

• Tranquil Muir Woods a break away from the city

  Muir woods was beautiful and such a nice trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely go at the 8am tour as otherwise it’s gets very busy and you’d lose the tranquility of it. Sausalito was honestly boring, everyone on the trip said the same thing. I’m not really sure of the point of stopping there to be honest. Could have done with skipping that section of the tour. Our tour guide Michael was very informative but not a natural happy people person. We arrived back to the bus literally 2mins late and got tutted at and he was quite rude, we then set off and he stated we were running early ! So why the upset over 2mins ? I would 100% recommend Muir Woods, but not the Sausalito section - maybe there are tours that skip this section ?

  Jerry, our driver/guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable and shared much about Muir Woods, but also offered information and insights about the Bay Area. The stop in Sausalito was interesting and the food options vast. The Woods walk was pretty spectacular and felt a bit holy.

  So glad I signed up for this tour! Small van, guide Ulrich was very knowledgeable. His comments on the way to Muir Woods added a lot to the excursion. The redwoods were magical, and Sausalito was a quaint place to spend some time. I took the ferry back on my own, which was a fun experience too! Totally recommend this tour!
