The tour of Alcatraz exceeded expectation. The staff was incredible when we arrived at the Pier and everything from that point forward was a positive. Alcatraz Island is filled with history.

It was ok. Not stellar. If you feel you must then do it but it is mediocre at best. Be prepared for a hike up steep grades.

It’s absolutely not necessary to purchase this tour via Viator. One can buy the tickets at the boat dock or on the official website to avoid paying double the money.

Poor system and overpriced. The link you sent to retrieve our tickets did not work. Said expired even though it was less than 2 hours old. I stressful time and almost literally missed the boat!

It was an amazing experience and it was an eye-opening experience. It was raining early during our tour and was somewhat dreary. Maybe fitting for this experience.

We booked this as a non-refundable excursion. Not long after booking, we found out my wife needed cancer surgery. I sent a message and got a very nice message wishing her the best and a promise to refund. We will be headed out there again so we will book with them for sure.
