This tour will visit Muir Woods and Sausalito. Note that this tour includes the Muir Woods entrance fee. We provide a boutique, personal experience with knowledgeable local guides in small groups.
The 8:30am tour departs from 488 Post St. (look for a black Mercedes sprinter van parked across the street) and ends at Pier 33.
The 12:50pm tour departs from Pier 33 and ends at Pier 33 or 488 Post St.

5.00Found this tour on Trip Advisor and it didn’t disappoint. Dustin was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. He was clear in his direction and named a few places to go on the second part of the tour.

3.00I expected more Muir Woods with just a bit of Sausalito. It was 1.25 hours in the woods more time in Sausalito. We also spent time looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. Didn’t need or want that. The woods are magnificent. Book a different tour if you want to really take it in. They just dropped us off. I thought I had properly downloaded the tickets to get in, but alas had only downloaded the tickets for the van. Be careful of that. I had a senior national Parks pass, so I didn’t have to pay twice to get in, but it took time, which was in short supply anyway. When we got to Muir Woods the driver just dropped us off with a few words about getting in and then disappeared. I was not pleased. Not worth the time or money.

5.00Glad I did a guided tour instead of just hiring a bike to do the bridge ride, I would’ve missed so much. The sun coming thru the tall red wood was beautiful in the morning and you’ve ample time to walk (no heels). The book store in Sausalito is amazing.

5.00Our tour guide was Dustin, very knowledgeable about San Francisco and surrounding areas. Each stop felt like sufficient time to see the experience. Van was comfortable. Great way to get out of the city without needing a car
