Little time spent in Murano and only saw one glass business and it was very expensive and we were followed around everywhere we went. Burano was fabulous and we were given time to explore on our own.

This felt more like a private boat ride than a guided tour. The Murano glass demonstration was interesting and gave some insight into the craft, but the shopping afterward felt a bit pushy and expensive for most visitors. Burano Lace Island was the highlight—its brightly colored fishermen’s houses create a charming, cheerful setting. The peaceful canals and quiet streets invite a lovely stroll, and the island is known for delicate handmade lace, showcased in small shops and artisan displays. It offered a nice glimpse into traditional Venetian island life and plenty of great photo opportunities. The skipper added a nice touch by serving a glass of Prosecco between islands, which made the ride more enjoyable. He also spoke over a speaker, but unfortunately, it was difficult to understand what he was saying. Overall, without a formal guide or narration, this experience is best suited for those looking to hire a private boat for the day. For a richer experience, consider combining it with a guided walking tour of Burano.

It was fantastic! Clementina, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and as she grew up on one of the islands was able to give us a lot of info about the culture. We only had 7 people on the tour (our family plus 3) The glass blowing factory on Murano was amazing. Burano was gorgeous. At the end of the tour our guide escorted us through the streets of Venice to point out some of her recommended restaurants which was over and above and very much appreciated. A really enjoyable trip!

This was one of my favorite experiences in Venice. The Murano glass blowing was small and private. Able to see 2 piece being blown. Burano was quaint. We were taken to see how handmade lace was made, then taken to a small 4 generational shop. Water taxi was wonderful!
