  I had a superb trip to the Daymaniyat Islands with a great crew. The amount of turtles when we reached was phenomenal with about a dozen gathered together. The only complaint I had was that we were back at the marina at 1.10pm when it should have been 2pm. I felt the time snorkelling at the turtles was too short and the guide had to spend time with those who were not so able at swimming which meant that the rest of us were wondering around not knowing we should be doing. The BBQ lunch is not a BBQ but food that has already been cooked and is served cold. I had visions of a BBQ on the beach but this does not happen.   Great experience. Service was excellent. The guidebook Edd and Captain DJ have left an extremely professional impression. Above all, both were very helpful and understandable. Our little son (5 years old) stuck to the lifebuoy and the guide (of course with Veste etc.) helped him to see the turtles. He'll never forget that.

• A must book! Highly professional company, an amazing day out

  One of the best snorkelling trips we have been on. The company is extremely professional and very well organised. On arrival it took less than a minute to check in, and we were greeted by multiple staff who were all very friendly. Flippers and masks were provided and waiting for us on labelled bags with our names on (again so well organised). Tea, coffee and water are available on site also for you to enjoy. Parking is available next to the company. Head for the large car park with a children’s outdoor play area. It is free to park there and very safe. You will receive contact from the company before you arrive, asking you to fill out liability forms and provided sizing for the flippers. Make sure you do this, as it speeds up the process massively and makes the arrival so much easier for yourself and for the staff. We were greeted by Bonnie and Sam for our booking. Both took the time to engage with us and welcome us, and it was clear to see the passion they both had for snorkelling and scuba diving. This made our entire group even more excited for the day. It was noticed they also engaged with every customer and ara real asset to this company. Their wealth of knowledge and passion is extremely welcomed and we really enjoyed talking to both of them. The boat itself was spacious, offering seating on the main deck, front of the boat and on top. We highly recommend going to the top, as it is covered in soft blue mats, which allow you to spread out and even lie down should you wish to. The journey itself on the boat is comfortable and takes around 1 hour to reach the islands. Water and juice is provided on the boat for the trip. (Make sure you use sun tan lotion if you do sit on top of the boat) The boat is also very safe The area for snorkelling is amazing. We saw at least 10 turtles during the first dive and multiple black tip sharks during the second dive. They will take you to two different spots for snorkelling, with a lunch break In between both dives. Make sure you bring towels with you. I would also recommend a wet suit if you chose to visit during the colder winter months. There were main tour companies at the site when we arrived, however Molamola managed this well, by keeping our dives way from other groups (But don’t be surprised to see maybe 10 other boats on site when you arrive) The group size itself for our trip was also 30 people. (They split you into two groups for snorkelling) Lunch is provided on board, and is a big spread of bbq items. Chicken, lamb, beef and falafel, wraps, hummus, crisps. There is more than enough for all customers and all of our party really enjoyed it. Overall from leaving Muscat to returning, it was around five to five and a half hours. If you chose to do both snorkelling dives, this entire time will be spent on the boat (Incase you are someone who suffers with sea sickness) there is an option to go and relax on one of the islands during the trip, however you will not be able to do the second snorkelling dive should you wish to do this. Sea sickness tablets are provided by the staff if you require one. However the journey was very smooth for us, and one member of our party who usually suffers with sea sickness was absolutely fine during the trip. A big thank you to Bonnie for also going the extra mile with it being my birthday. She made sure we saw black tip sharks (as this is my favourite sea life) and gave me a special mention on the boat at the end of the trip. Only feedback we would give is we found we were waiting a while for late comers to arrive. The info states be there for 08:00, and people were casually arriving past 08:30. Please be on time if you book this trip! We highly recommend this company and would definitely book with them again. • Chaotic - skip them, plenty of other dive providers

  Chaotic service and set up. Too many boats with too many divers and snorkelers at once. Little assistance and minimal explanations for divers especially upon arrival. Super rude owner. Boat I was on had 4 children (ages 4 to 10?) with minimal supervision (both parents and a nanny were there but leaving the kids to do whatever) making the trip unpleasant for all including the staff who seemed to be struggling with managing the kids. Recommend Molamola have age limits on these crowded boats and/or require parents to supervise their children. After the negative experience with Molamola I went out with Blue Flow diving who were great!

  Nice experience made by people who love what they do, well organized good food and great turtle sighting spots. Always available via whatsapp. The only note are for the ladders are a little difficult to climb and descend compared to a ladder

  Great experience and great snorkeling. We saw plenty of sea turtles, colorful fish, pufferfish, an octopus, and a cuttlefish. The food was food was food. The only thing I wish is that we had make time to just hang out at the island. They take you to two different snorkeling spots, at the second spot they give the option to hang out on island instead of snorkeling for 45 minutes to an hour. I chose to snorkel more because I thought we still had more time to go to the island after. Other than that great trip

  This has been only of the reviews that I’ve been struggling with. The dive sites around Muscat are of exceptional beauty and a must visit for any diving enthusiast. Seeing some ghost nets during one of the dives surprised me and is something that I’d like to see the dive centres take more accountability for (see later.) Nevertheless, making the logistics work to get to those islands (45-60min boat drive) during early high season is champions league. And here lies the crux. While everyone at MolaMola has been kind, comforting and helpful, the logistics are what could be improved. Every day, the procedures were slightly different and there was some struggle on getting equipment for the new ones/figuring out the right amount of weight on each boat. Learning that the team was a boat short (late delivery) and needed to rent some boats in the meantime is something that can happen. But if the new boat is more than 4 weeks, I’d expect the team to re-visit procedures and consider better material and people flow allowing for a better customer experience. Namely, clear instructions of who you are diving with on that day to simplify the equipment preparation and pre-planning of the number of weight belts/weights per boat. Another problem I’d like the dive center to consider is managing late customers. On two days, we (12+ divers, all setup and on board) were waiting for 1-2 missing divers - once for 30+ minutes. Here I’d like to see the dive center apply more rigour. If its departure time (usually 30-40min after the meeting time at the dive center) and someone is neither there nor has notified the office of any delay, the boat should leave. Overall, this would be a 4/5 rating but having had a fantastic experience with highly qualified dive instructors who truly deserve it, I’ll rate the potential over the minor flaws in execution. I especially want to acknowledge Bonnie and her openness to feedback about the operations - looking forward to seeing things change! Lastly, a recommendation regarding the ghost nets seen during diving Walid June. I truly believe that many divers out there would appreciate an option to do something about it. Such as discounted reef cleanup dives (e.g. one normal dive and one clean up dive) to leave the environment in a better state that you found it.
