A most knowledgeable guide with a good foundation of understanding for explaining the local culture. Answered questions about the native foods and diets and how different influences from other nationalities caused a growing variety over time. Discussed the diversity of today's religious makeup in the population with knowledge of the history and patterns of immigration and their causes. The guide also seemed to have a good knowledge of the history of native crafts and their importance in today's culture. Was also able to explain how the spread out pattern of 300 plus islands over 1000's of acres with helped create the current system of government and society.

It was good. We were invited into the temple by one of the priests, at a time when we weren’t meant to be there. He even allowed photos and a photo with him. The markets were interesting. Our guide was a delightful lady, very helpful, very knowledgeable.
