Lake Atitlan

After breakfast at the hotel, an excursion will be organized to one of the most magical places in Guatemala: Lake Atitlan. Imagine an immense lake, sparkling in the sun, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes adorned with wildflowers. This setting will be the perfect backdrop for a boat ride and guided tour that will explore the deep connection to the Mayan culture that this place harbors.

San Juan la Laguna

According to the local Maya, the lake possesses unique energy fields, and although not everyone feels them, the uniqueness and beauty of Atitlan is undeniable. The excursion will continue to San Juan La Laguna, a charming village inhabited by the Tz'utujil ethnic group, located on the west side of the lake. This place is known for its artisan workshops and rich handicraft tradition. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet the local weavers, artists and artisans who contribute to the vibrant cultural life of the village, as well as enjoy the breathtaking landscapes offered by the surroundings. This day will allow you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of serenity and natural beauty, while connecting with the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the villages surrounding Lake Atitlan.

After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a unique experience: an easy hike up Pacaya Volcano. This is one of the most accessible hikes in Guatemala, ideal for beginners and hiking enthusiasts alike, all while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding volcanoes, Lake Amatitlan and the expanse of the city. This is an opportunity to experience a truly memorable volcanic adventure, where the majesty and power of nature manifest before your eyes.

This colonial city, recognized by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”, will captivate you with its beauty and rich history. In Antigua, you will enjoy a guided tour that will take you through its cobblestone streets to the impressive Cathedral and the Central Plaza. You will explore the Palacio de los Capitanes and other historic sites that bear witness to the city's splendorous past. Every corner of Antigua invites you to immerse yourself in its history, culture and unique architecture. Afterwards, you will be transferred to La Aurora International Airport for your departure flight.
