Zip NOLA is New Orleans' and the World's FIRST ever fully aquatic swamp zipline! With over a half mile of ziplines and suspension bridges spanning the Maurepas Swamp, Zip NOLA is the premier activity for nature lovers and thrill seekers alike. View swamp critters and the amazing swamp ecosystem from the comfort of the moss covered cypress treetops!
Zip NOLA’s facility has many amenities including a 1200 sq ft gift shop with the latest and greatest New Orleans souvenirs, gifts, and snack/beverage items. Our shop also boasts a phenomenal enclosure for our baby alligators and turtles! We also have spacious restrooms, locker storage, green space picnic area, and an expansive 2000 sq ft elevated seating area overlooking the beautiful cypress-filled Maurepas Swamp. Guests can take in breathtaking sights of moss covered cypress swamp, while they also view the many wildlife that frequent the area. Alligators can be readily seen, as well as a plethora of other swamp critters!

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR SCHEDULED START TIME. Zipline through the historic and beautiful Maurepas Swamp! View the prolific New Orleans swamp eco-system from the comfort of moss covered cypress treetops. This facility is nestled on the banks of Lake Ponchartrain, in the quaint historic town of Frenier. Our course is roughly one half mile long, taking guests approximately an hour and a half to complete. Riders begin the adventure from atop our 60 foot start platform, with complete views of the magnificent Maurepas Swamp, Lake Ponchartrain, the historic town of Frenier, and even the New Orleans skyline! As riders traverse the course, they will enjoy 5 separate zip lines, two suspension bridges, and our beautiful one of a kind spiral cypress tree staircase. Prepare yourself to become immersed in nature. Aside from the incredible scenery, riders can expect the possibility of viewing alligators, turtles, snakes, whitetail deer, wild boar, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, egrets, herons, and much more from the comfort and safety of the treetops!

5.00Had such an amazing time here this past weekend. They have a nice area where you can play some games while you are waiting for your group to all arrive. Nice gift shop with snacks, drinks & merchandise (I had to get a sweatshirt because it was incredibly soft & a cool souvenir) Absolutely beautiful & thrilling zip lining over a swamp of gators! The tour guides were great & very helpful. I felt very secure & safe with the harness & even the podiums you stand up in the trees. Took about an hour & 15 minutes from start to finish. Personally the most terrifying part for me was going up the spiral stairs case in the beginning. It is a little wobbly & you aren’t clipped onto anything when you’re going up to your starting point at 65 feet up. I’ve gone zip lining a few times & this one was by far my favorite. Such beautiful views! Would highly recommend! Worth every penny.

5.00This is my 3rd time zip lining & this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had! This was the tallest zip line I have done & it wasn’t as scary as I thought. The only scary part is going up the spiral staircase in the beginning because it’s a little wobbly & you aren’t connected to anything. The guides here were great & gave you a little bit of information about the swamp you are flying over. I did not see any gators but I saw a few raccoons. The guides made you feel safe & the platforms you land on were the sturdiest I have ever been on. Big enough to fit the whole group. I had a lot of fun & would definitely do it again. Also, lockers are free to hold your belongings.

5.00Shorter line trip, Fun nonetheless. 5 lines, creative Spiderman zip position. Worth it, we love zipnlining every chance we get. No gators seen, but nice scenery.

5.00Absolutely great experience! They helped us coordinate travel from and back to the French Quarter. The staff is friendly. The grounds are clean and beautiful. They were patient with us beginners who were a little scared and they showed more advanced people some fun tricks to do. The course was great and I loved every second!!
