5.00This experience with Eyþór was nothing short of magic. It combined all of my favorites: history, art, a great deal of knowledge and a personalized, hands-on experience. Eyþór was able to quickly ascertain all of our interests and went above and beyond (as well as over time) showing us all sorts of centuries-old books, manuscripts, and even skin. His dedication to preserving Icelandic works and love of what he does is apparent. Communication leading up to the experience was friendly and prompt and the location convenient and easy to find. 10/10 highly recommend.

5.00This experience with Thor blew my mind. I am a lover of books, history, the written word as it makes it way through time. Thor took us on a magical literary journey. We were very interested in the Sagas. Our ring road trip took us to different locations of the Sagas. Meeting with Thor drove the finer points home. We could touch and smell those old manuscripts. Dispelled were myths on how to handle the ancient manuscripts. Thor is so enthusiastic for sharing his knowledge, the literary spirit is contagious. Please Please if you love literature, the written word, books history. Don't miss out on this excellent experience. I know I will be back for more!

5.00Eythorr is very invested preserving and using old books. He does this as a sort of hobby and has made good connections. He has a variety of texts (the older ones are mainly religious, as those were published more at the time). He has restored some of his texts and is in the process of restoring more. He let me handle the texts and take pictures. His English is pretty good as well. Would definitely recommend.
