1.00We took Yujin Tours ”day to Nikko” because of the outstanding reviews on Viator about their *deeply knowledged* guides. To start, the driver picked us up 1:40 hours late. So the tour started at 9:40 A.M. Considering it gets dark at 5 P.M., it was not possible to go to the falls neither to see the lake, both offered in the tour description . The driver almost didn’t talk to us. So, no guiding at all. We were droped off on places, on our own, any explanations were given. We even had to come back to Toshugo s Heine because we discovered on the web that we had lost the highlight! The explanation Yoshi gave us: We just payed for an english speaking driver to Nikko. Seriously???? What about all the Viator reviews? What about the delate pick Up?

3.00This was pretty expensive for what it was. 6 hours of driving for about 4 hours in Nikko. The driver is not a guide and doesn't give any information about the locations except where the ticket counters are. Our driver was a half hour late but was kind enough to extend at the end to make up for it. I would only rebook if we had a large group and couldn't rent a car ourselves.

Our guide, Haju, was fantastic - very knowledgeable about the locations we visited, friendly, a safe driver, and his recommended lunch spot did not disappoint. The itinerary made it so easy to see all the best Nikko has to offer in a day. Plus, the vehicle was so comfortable, the best transportation we've had on a tour like this across many countries. Worth every penny!
