Food and drinks
Pickup if you are outside of central Osaka (defined as within or along the JR Loop Line). Other locations will incur a surcharge for both pickup and drop off as follows: Port of Osaka pickups, 2,500 yen each way. Universal Studios area, 2,000 yen each way. Shin-Osaka Station area, 1,000 yen each way.
Child seat: 1,000 yen payable on day of tour.

Osaka Castle
Of course you're going to see Osaka Castle, arguably the most iconic spot of great historical significance in Osaka. We'll traverse the grounds, all the while talking about the history, architecture, and significance of the spot. Since the rebuilt interior of the castle is rather disappointing, we recommend giving that a miss. Trust us.
Shitennoji
This is said to be the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan, and the grounds make for a great place to stroll about. We'll regale you with stories and lob you just enough info on the place to make it interesting without being tedious. Unless you like loads of info, because we have that too. It's your private tour after all! :)

5.00Perfect day tour with Kevin! Great balance of activities, well timed and spaced out. The van was cool and comfortable. Loved the temple visit... secluded and calm, even in the big city. The lunch at the spot in Kevin's neighborhood was exceptional. Kevin is a gentleman, full of knowledge and so much fun to talk to. We would do it over again, just like this!

5.00Was a great tour with Kevin around Osaka. Great lunch spot for local cuisine. Great knowledge of the local area and japanese culture and history. We went to some of the usual sights but some not so common sights. It meant we werent crowded with other tourists. Great having a one on one experience as well. Definitely worth the money to spend our short amount of time in Osaka on this tour.

5.00Thank to very professional and insightful explanations of Hugo we were able to visit the main spots of Osaka but above all the hidden gems of the city not overcrowded by tourists. Also for lunch, Hugo brought us to a local restaurant for the joy of the family. We appreciated Hugo deep knowledge of the Japanese’s and western culture and the way he introduced to us the similarities and differences. Many historical references completed the tour. Excellent guide and top Viator experience, we definitely recommend this tour!
