Take this time-travelling adventure through a fantastic array of Outlander sights on a small group day trip from Edinburgh. With a maximum group size of 16 passengers, you are sure to have a memorable and personal experience on this special day trip for fans of the show and history lovers.

Min. age 5 years old. We do not accept children under the age of 5 years.
Luggage Allowance: You're restricted to 14kg (31lbs) of luggage per person on our tours. This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22in x 17in x 10in) plus a small bag for onboard personal items.

Blackness Castle – We reserve tickets for you.Included in the tour price .
Midhope Castle - We reserve tickets for you. If you want to visit this attraction, please purchase your ticket whilst on tour.
In order to retain the integrity of the tour and try to ensure that all our customers have the best possible experience, we do cap bookings from any one party to 8 passengers.
Culross Palace is closed over the winter months. Tickets are not included in the tour price.
*Please note that we will be unable to visit Midhope Castle on 8, 10, 15, 19, 25, and 29 November; 2, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 27, and 31 December; and 10, 24, 27, and 31 January. On these days, we will allow extra time at the other stops. Additionally, please note that winter closure of Midhope Castle will take place from 5th of January -13 February. During this period, a photo stop is still possible, but it will not be possible to go up to the castle itself.
*Please note that Doune Castle will be closed 26 September – 5 October and 5 - 7 November, replaced with Linlithgow Palace (admission included).
*Blackness Castle will be closed from 29 September to 19 October. During this period, your visit will include alternative attractions at no extra cost. From 29 September to 1 October, the tour will feature Aberdour Castle. On 2 and 3 October, the visit will be replaced with Culross Palace. On 4 and 5 October, Aberdour Castle will again be included. Finally, from 6 to 19 October, Linlithgow Palace will be the alternative to Blackness Castle.

Midhope Castle
Midhope Castle is your next highlight. Unfortunately, visitors are unable to go inside the castle, but Jamie’s lovely Lallybroch home is still an essential photo opportunity for any fan of the show. Jamie’s family home, Lallybroch, is as lovely as it looks in the show.
Blackness Castle
Blackness Castle entrance included in tour price. The tough-looking castle looks like it could fend off an entire empire. And in Outlander, it impersonates Fort William.

5.00Kelly the queen of Scotland guided this tour of outlander locations. Kelly is fantastic!!!!!! I can’t praise her enough! She kept us entertained and engaged for the entire tour. Her knowledge of outlander and the sites we visited is second to none! When booking this tour, you must request Kelly!!!! She made this tour a 10 out of 10!!!’ And a shout out to Rabbie tours (Kelly’s boss) highly recommend!

5.00While a fan of the Outlander books, I have not seen most of the series. I took the tour because it stopped at several locations I wanted to visit. I was concerned that I would be the oddball person out. So not true. Our guide was amazing and personable, he kept everyone engaged and while he share Outlander tips and info, it was not overwhelming. I would recommend this tour even if you are not a number 10 die hard fan.
