We meet at Mandoon Estate Winery in Caversham and launch from their private jetty on the Swan River.
From here, we paddle at a steady pace, taking time to enjoy the natural beauty of this quiet section of the river, home to picturesque estates and native birdlife.
Along the way, we pause for raft-ups, where your experienced local guide shares stories about the river’s cultural significance and local history.
We reach our turning point near the historic Woodbridge Park before beginning a gentle paddle back toward Mandoon Estate.
Once back at Mandoon, you’ll be guided to either the Cellar Door or Homestead Brewery, where you can choose to enjoy optional wine or beer tastings, or extend your experience with our food packages.
A perfect way to start your day in the Swan Valley.

5.00A really enjoyable experience from go to whoa for four generations of our family. A lovely time kayaking with Bryan and Kyle as our guides, both full of information, and then the added bonus of tasting some really good wines rounded off the morning beautifully.

5.00Can really recommend this to anyone who would like a pleasant trip down the Swan River, learning interesting facts and ending with a delicious wine tasting. Kayaks were stable and comfortable, experience was not needed, Bryan and Kyle were welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Would we do it again - most definitely!! Planning to do the Perth City Lights evening tour next - Hamish and lyndsey

5.00Organised tours such as this are often superficial and a bit disappointing. This is certainly not the case with this tour. The moment we met Brian we knew it was going to be a great morning. He was really flexible with our group and showed real empathy. The equipment was great quality and after a very good briefing we were off down the river! It was peaceful and quiet and we went at our own pace. The trip was interspersed with really interesting and informative stories and anecdotes. On return it was time for the wine tasting at Mandoon which was just lovely.

5.00Such a lovely relaxing way to learn some facts about Perth and the Swan River. The tour guides are great and really make you feel comfortable. Wine tasting was relaxed and informative. Would highly recommend!

5.00An absolutely perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Although it was an extremely hot day, it was beautiful on the water with the capable team. A fantastic gift from my daughter.

5.00We had a great time kayaking a beautiful part of the river. Our guides, Kyle, Bryan, and Rachel, were excellent. They were very friendly and lovely people who explained everything clearly and provided interesting information about the area's history and wildlife. The pre-tour information was communicated well. All the equipment was in excellent condition, and everything was well-organised and safe but relaxed and fun. The pace of the tour was perfect. Thank you for a very enjoyable morning. 5.00Was a nice gentle kayak with a good bit of history from the lovely boys conducting the tour. We all stayed very dry with the exception of a few drips from the paddle and the jetty was quite hot so I'd say it's a good idea to wear your shoes. Fantastic day out and a great venue to start for lunch and maybe more than a tasting.

5.00Lovely relaxed kayak,we coped without experience & youth on our side!! Great guide.lovely views of river. Very amusing , & good information, on history of settlers to WA. Loved this trip very easy and relaxed, completed with informal wine tasting. Great place to stop & eat.

5.00We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour to family and friends!! We learnt new things, enjoyed some incredible scenery and ended with a delicious wine tasting. Matt and his wife were very friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable! All in all a great time

5.00Fantastic tour! Faultlessly organised, every aspect very professional. Matt is an extremely knowledgeable guide and presents information in an interesting and accessible way. He is also very friendly and personable. Winery was very busy but the tasting was well run and again, superbly organised. Highly recommend this tour.
