Visit Pompeii, a Unesco World Heritage site takes you back to the past, it's a full immersion in the history.The local expert guide will take you around the ancient town of Pompeii for 2 hours, showing the main public monuments and some of the most famous Houses of Pompeii ruins. At the end of the tour you are free to return, or stay in Pompeii to explore further on your own, (Return Ticket Valid All Day)!

Once checked in with Amelia she will indicate where to meet your guide, together you will board the 10:00 AM Train. For bookings with children, you will need to show a copy of a document that shows proof of the child's age for free tickets. Once on board train, (Do Not Listen to the announcments by loudspeakers as confusing) The stop for tour is POMPEII SCAVI VILLA DEI MISTERI, please do not leave the train at other station. We cannot be held responsible if you board the wrong train or leave the train at the wrong station. Once in Pompeii, Please stay with your Guide From Sorrento. Please do not follow any other indications from third parties in Pompeii, as these are touters and definitely not part of our team.
If you have luggage there is a storage facility in Pompeii Station Villa Dei Misteri, ask guide on the day for information

5.00The meeting point was exactly where we were told it would be and our guide, Mena, was already there when we arrived. Mena gave the whole group headphones, train tickets & a card with an emergency number. Then we boarded the train to Pompeii & we all met up on the platform there. We then had a coffee & comfort break before we went into the Ruins. Once we got inside Mena’s passion for Pompeii shone through, and she navigated us expertly around the site, divulging lots & lots of interesting facts, with a good bit of humour thrown in. We got plenty of chances to take photos, with Mena advising us on the best spots to take them. It was a great time of the year to go as the weather wasn’t too hot & it wasn’t overly crowded yet still busy. But without doubt I’m so glad we were with Mena as both myself & my wife would have been lost as to where to start & end our walk around the Ruins. At the end of the tour we returned our headsets to Mena and we could make our own way back to Sorrento at our own leisure as our train tickets were flexible. So we had lunch nearby before we got the train back. Mena’s passion & enthusiasm for Pompeii is definitely what made the tour so memorable, and I would highly recommend it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
