Transfer from Sorrento to Pompei and from Pompei to Sorrento by new and confortable minibus, tickets in Pompei (euro 16,00 per person included), professional guide in English, French, Spanish or Italian inside the ruins, who will show you in a 2 hours walking tour the most fascinating places like the Forum, Thermal Baths, Lupanare burnt by volcanic ashes and lapilli during the eruption in 79 A.D. You have the opportunity to discover the everyday life of the Imperial age and imagine the panic of the people before the city was so disastrously buried. Departure from Pompei at around 13:30 and return around 14:00-14:30 (depending on traffic conditions you can return at 15:00); drop off where we picked you up in the morning. It's a trip not to be missed for any visitor coming into this region of Italy.

5.00Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful- she just knew so much and she was also very funny. We learnt about the way of life at this time, their businesses, housing & trade and how terrified the people must have been when the volcano exploded & the devastation it caused to the city. Amazing walking tour

5.00The tour guide Elisa was excellent. Very knowledgeable, friendly with a great sense of humour. The timings were good .. we were collected at the correct time and had a chance to grab a quick drink before our return. We were grateful it was overcast although it was very humid as there is no shelter. The only criticism we have is that the onward mini bus was very cramp with no leg room.
A lot of standing around.

4.00We got started late due to traffic from Sorrento to Pompeii, people needing to use the restroom before the tour began, and organizing everyone into the group just to get started. I would suggest a smaller group size to make it more manageable and a better experience. The tour guide was great once we got started.

4.00The tour guide Elisa was excellent - she was personable and extremely knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. I would highly recommend this tour!! However, Viator was not excellent! I had arranged with Viator to be picked up at my hotel, and I have written confirmation from Viator of the pick up spot- that being my hotel. Three days before the tour, I got an email saying the pick up spot had changed. This forced us to make emergency arrangements to go to the new pick up spot which we had no knowledge of the location. The morning of the tour Viator switched the pick up spot again but they were unsuccessful at contacting us. Their mistake was contacting the hotel who knew that we had been switched the first time and told Viator don’t screw up these people‘s plans. They’ve already made arrangements to meet where you asked them to meet you. Because of this, I would question any further touring with Viator - I don’t appreciate the unprofessionalism that was displayed. We are in a strange town. We are not familiar with bus routes, hotels, and their locations. It was extremely inconvenient for us to change our original confirmed pick up spot and then to have it changed again twice and upon speaking to other people at the tour, we discovered that the same had happened to them. One particular couple had paid to be picked up and were forced to pay to be picked up at another location. This is completely unacceptable.
