This unique experience goes beyond simply enjoying delicious sushi — it’s a rare chance to understand the techniques, traditions, and philosophy of Edomae Sushi at a real sushi counter in Kanda, created by a locally loved sushi shop.
You’ll interact directly with a professional sushi chef while being guided in English through the evolution of sushi.
The experience features a 14-piece tasting of fine sushi, including a comparison of various cuts of tuna.
As you eat, you’ll explore:
– Techniques such as simmering, searing, marinating, and wrapping
– How rice preparation changes flavor
– A tasting comparison between standard and premium ingredients
– Tools used by sushi chefs
– The taste and aroma of real wasabi
You’ll also step behind the counter, experience the chef’s workspace, and take commemorative photos.

A Kids' Room is available for children up to 12 years old. Please note that childcare services are not provided.
When booking the child plan, the meal served is not the same sushi course as the adult plan. Instead, a kid-friendly meal will be provided. Seating will also differ — children will be seated in the Kids Room or in a child-designated seat, not at the sushi counter. If your child would like to enjoy the full 14-piece sushi course at the counter alongside adults, please make the reservation under the adult plan.
We are unable to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions related to rice, soy, or seafood.

5.00A new experience you will not forget. We ultimately chose this restaurant because it was family friendly. Parents got to enjoy wonderful food and conversation and learn so much about Edomae sushi while children enjoyed playing with lego and eating their own lunch within our sight. A date night on a family trip! Staff was very kind to the children and they loved their meals too. Meal accommodated for shrimp allergy. I enjoyed understanding the history of the food I was eating and asking the chef questions. Service was exceptional. My favorite part of the trip to Japan.

5.001. The food was exceptional - absolutely world-class Omakase, better than anything the West can offer up, with none of the pretentious nonsense that has spoiled American Omakase experiences. 2. To boot, this is likely the only truly "family/kid friendly" high-end Omakase experience you will find. It's a fantastic concept with a dedicated kids room/table and activities, and I think they are onto something big with this as they continue to refine it. Our daughter, almost 3, was mostly well-behaved, but at times definitely behaved like the 3 year old she is. No issue, the staff made us feel welcome and helped entertain her. 3. We had a wonderful time. We cannot express enough our appreciation for the way Moe, Fujito and the team treated our family - ownership please take note of how exceptional your team is. If you are thinking about this, stop thinking and just book it. You will be very happy that you did.

1.00I booked this experience 3 months ahead. Got a message requesting to change the time that I didn’t see until I got to the restuarant at the original time only to find the place closed. Reached out via messaging while heading back to my hotel but didn't hear back for a while only to find they claim eberyone was inside of what I found to be a dark and empty store on arrival. I called and was told if I come back, I could join the meal, but had only 5 minutes before their automatic cancelation time limit. They also claimed to have no more bookings this week to accomodate for their mistake/confusing messaging. They then refused to refund my $171 for a meal they were unable to provide and gave confusing messaging about the event.

5.00If you are looking for one omakase experience in Tokyo, definitely consider REONA. The high quality ingredients were very fresh and the menu was carefully chosen to reflect Edo-style sushi. The dinner was accompanied by various explanations and short videos on the rich cultural history of sushi. The dinner ended with a traditional green tea/red bean Japanese dessert along with a charming tea made with Sakura flowers. The staff at REONA have clearly put a lot of time and effort into delivering a memorable experience for their guests; a wonderful two hours enjoyed. I look forward to bringing friends and family to REONA the next time I am in Tokyo.
