Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the option). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
The tour is conducted in English.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.

Embark on this well-paced full-day experience that will take you from Barcelona city center to the heart of Barcelona’s countryside. Departing early in the morning from Barcelona's North Station, your first destination will be the scenic Monastery of Montserrat. A whole morning of astounding landscape, views and history await in there. After enjoying a one-hour-long tour through the highlights of Montserrat Monastery, you will have more than two hours of free time (with the 8.30am option, 1.5 hours with the 9.45am option). Your guide will advise on all your options depending on your interests and, so that you can make the most of your time in Montserrat.
Oller del Mas
Those who select the options with wine will enjoy a full traditional catalan lunch, a visit to a 10th century castle turned into a wine cellar and a tasting of their wonderful production.

5.00This may have been one of the best tours I have ever taken in our many trips over the years. The tour was well-organized, left plenty of time to explore each stop, the scenery was spectacular, and the food and wine were delicious. I can’t say enough about our tour guide, Yerai. I think I learned more about the country from him in 30 minutes than days worth of visits to museums. His commentary was funny and interesting on top of it. It was an amazing day that I will not soon forget.

5.00You’ll hear a lot of the history about the monestary and the wine family. The guide is very knowledgeable and attentive to his group! Xavi was the best! Bring a water bottle and a hand held fan.

5.00Super lovely experience. Even though it was a long day, there wasn’t a dull moment. The bus ride to and from Montserrat was smooth and surprisingly entertaining. Our guide, Elena, was incredibly outgoing and knowledgeable—she shared so much interesting information and really made an effort to connect with everyone on the tour. She did a fantastic job keeping things engaging throughout the day. Monserrat was definitely worth seeing and would do it again with a bit more time to see the choir. At the winery, the food was totally fine, and the selection of wines we got to try was delicious. Honestly, I only have positive things to say about the whole experience. Elena had a wealth of knowledge and a clear passion for history, culture, and wine, which made the day even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to do a relaxed day trip out of the city. Nina, Jay, & Annette
