  Really enjoyed being able to see so much of Versailles with the carts and bikes. Julian was a wonderful guide, full of information and so very nice. Enjoyed our time, worth the money.

  Avoid if you have a food allergy or intolerance. I knew that accommodating my food allergy (celiac) would be difficult. I was fully prepared for them to tell me they couldn't accommodate me and I would had come prepared by bringing my own lunch. The issue was that after they contacted me, we agreed that I would be fine with fruit instead of the default lunch. However, when luch came they gave me a salad which they said was gluten free. I noticed it had croutons and asked if they can reconfirm that it was gf. The guide said he was unsured about the croutons but i can remove them. Which if you are celiac you know that's not OK and you will still get sick because it now has traces of gluten. The food did not have an ingredient or allergy lable and with the guide being unsure i decided I did not want to get ill and did not eat the food. This resulted in me starving the whole day because I had no food. If I would had known, I would had packed my own lunch which I was fully prepared to do. We finished the toured, starving and hungry. Wasn't able to enjoy the rest of the day due to my headache for not eating. Besides this, I was going to give this tour a 4/5 stars BUT before when we left the garden to visit the palace i had directly asked if we would be able to come back into the garden afterwards and i was told YES but that we needed to be back in the garden by 6 pm to ensure entry. We rushed through the palace so we could go back into the garden now that it had better weather but we were informed by the gate agent that we in fact could NOT re-enter the garden after we had walked around to the second gate ( Dragon Gate) because we had already been. This means we left the palace an 1.5 hrs before we needed to because we wanted to spend more time in the garden but we were unable to regain entry. And this is why my rating has gone down from 4 to 1.

  Great tour of gardens. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a lovely picnic lunch.

  An all day adventure. Julian our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! Best way to see the grounds.

  Our tour guide Julian was very communicative the day before, directions on where to meet were clear and given to you in advance. Very knowledgeable about Versailles. Made the tour relaxing and enjoyable. The lunch was beautifully presented and delicious. The garden tour was the highlight! It was absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend booking this tour. Well worth the money spent and more.
