We were met by our guide and took an abbreviated tour of the palace. We saw the basic, most important areas. Our guide told us there were rooms that we would not be seeing, and I susah we had been given maps. However, he was very knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend this tour. After the tour ended, we were free to tour the gardens. They were humongous! We walked them. We had lunch at Le Flottille, looking at the Grand Canal on the property. It was wonderful and thenx we walked to Marie Antoinette's estate. We took the little train back to the palace. We took the metro C line to get there and it was easy.

Francisco was excellent! He engaged with the kids and brought to life each room with so much knowledge and a great sense of humor. I wouldn’t have gotten as much out of our afternoon at Versailles without him. My kids were totally engaged the whole time too. Worth every penny!

We waited an hour after our timed "skip the line" entrance before being let in. Our guide seemed knowledgeable enough, but focuses on the delays and his issues with the site. What I believe was an attempt to add character to the information often came across as pushing agenda or personal view point
