In the morning, your tour guide and private car with driver will come to meet you at your hotel lobby. The first place you will visit the Tiananmen Square which is the biggest city center square in the world. Moreover, along famous Chang'an Street, you will see The Great Hall of People, and The National Museum (used to be named Chinese history and revolution museum). In additional, the center of the square is the Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Linda Sun and the excellent driver who ensured our comfort throughout the trip. The tour was seamless, allowing me to fully relax while Linda and the driver handled all the logistics, optimizing our visit to each site. Linda was exceptional; she was even flexible to adapt the tour to meet our needs. She provided insightful explanations of each location and shared valuable tips about China and other destinations. This tour was truly worth it, and I highly recommend it!

5.00We received a whatsapp the night before the tour with details about the meeting. Punctual Service, comfortable car, only four people. After queuing for checks to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (almost 1 hour) we started the visit these two places with Lucy who was amazing: Clear, prepared, exhaustive and with excellent English. After lunch in a DA group restaurant and a visit to a jade workshop/shop we went to the Great Wall, Badaling section. Despite the many tourists and the great heat it was a very exciting and pleasant excursion. I recommend this tour and hope you find Lucy because she was a really good guide.

5.00Maggie turned our private tour in Beijing into something we’ll be talking about for years. From the moment she met us she struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional, steering us through the city’s bustle without ever making the day feel hurried. We skirted past Tiananmen Square by car instead of walking (at our request given the LONG queue time) so we could keep the morning free for the real highlight, the Forbidden City and, one of the main reasons we came to Beijing, the great wall! Even from the car Maggie managed to weave in snippets of history that set the scene for everything we saw later. Inside the former imperial palace she seemed to bring every courtyard and throne room back to life, pointing out architectural quirks we’d have walked straight past and recounting stories of the emperors with an enthusiasm that was contagious. Unfortunately, due to regional flooding, Mutianyu was closed, but Maggie didn’t miss a beat. She quickly arranged for us to visit the BaDaLing section of the Great Wall instead, and made sure we took the less crowded route to give us the best experience possible. Her knowledge of the Wall’s construction, strategy, and facts made the whole climb feel like stepping into the past. She paced the visit perfectly and even helped us find quiet moments away from the tourist crowds for photos and a bit of reflection. Throughout the day she checked in on the little things like whether we needed water, if the pace felt good and even where the best photo angles were. By the time we returned to the city it felt less like we’d hired a guide and more like we’d spent the day exploring with a friend. Five stars all the way!

5.00Wonderful full day tour, very friendly and knowledgable guide who worked hard to get us to see the Great Wall despite the bad weather closing the site down at one point, skipped the queues too. Luxurious air-conditioned car was an extra bonus
