Our driver will pick you up at hotel lobby. Take about 1.5 hour’s drive from Beijing City to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the trip, transfer you back to hotel.

Exceptional Great Wall Experience with Jack

We had an outstanding experience with our driver, Jack, on our visit to the Great Wall of China. He picked us up promptly and got us to the wall early, which meant we were able to enjoy it before the crowds arrived — a real luxury. Jack truly gave us the VIP treatment, driving us directly to the beginning of the wall, which saved us both time and hassle. His English was excellent, and he was incredibly informative throughout the day, sharing interesting facts and answering all our questions with ease. At our request, Jack even took us to a fantastic local restaurant where we were able to try authentic regional dishes — a real highlight of the day. His flexibility, local knowledge, and professionalism made the whole experience seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organised, insightful, and truly tailored experience at the Great Wall.

Our driver/guide Joe was fantastic. Very promt at PEK pick-up point and very good english. Conversations were vibrant and while the guide normally take you to the tram for the great wall and meet you after, he joined us on our adventure and took many photos for us. Highly recommend the trip and this driver

The tour operator contacted us early and asked to reschedule the trip and leave 6 am in the morning. I am glad we did, it was a long holiday and by arriving early, we saved hours in traffic and there were virtually no lines. The driver was very helpful, service minded and he took good care of us.

We liked this excursion. Our driver was David, he was waiting for us in the hotel lobby, brought water and bananas for the trip to the Wall. He managed to get us straight to the start of the cable car and organized tickets during the drive so that we were on the wall within minutes. On the return we stopped at a local restaurant and had a great lunch. David's English was great and we could communicate without issues. We recommend this tour if you want to visit independently but do not want the hassle of organizing everything. Great value (left Beijing at 8.00am and were back at 4.00pm spending about 2.5 hrs on the wall).

Our driver Jason was great! Picked us up on time and gave us all of the necessary information. Would highly recommend this tour to avoid the crowds for at least an hour and a half. Trust me, you need to!
