I didn't go on a private day trip to Morella and Peñíscola; I spent a day in each of these cities, and I must admit that both exceeded my expectations. Morella is beautiful and you should visit everything the tourist office recommends. In Peñíscola, I took a guided tour of the castle and then had dinner at a restaurant that seemed to be right on the sea, right in the old town. I recommend visiting each of the cities for a full day, there is so much to see.
